Story
Ghost II is house-trained, loves seeing his environment, and is always up for a good game of fetch/tug of war. He is a smart boy so mental stimulation is pretty engaging to him. His gorgeous coat resembles a lionâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s mane (as heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s fluffy around the head) and bright hazel eyes are just the startâ&#194&#128&#194&#148this sweet boy is ready to form a deep bond with a loving owner who can match his playful and loyal nature. Ghost is also very fond of belly and butt scritches! (He will let you know if you're not scratching the right spot!) Sometimes he tries to be a lapdog so he loves to be next to his owner! Ghost can also catch on to commands fairly quickly. He knows sit, stay, and to give his paw. What Ghost Needs: - A home where heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s the only pet (he enjoys being the sole focus!) - An active family or individual who enjoys outdoor activities and has yard spa - Someone who can provide a consistent structure - A cuddler! If youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153re looking for a loving companion to join your family, Ghost might be your perfect match! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Ghost II, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org. Story
Hi, I`m Buddy! I`m young and full of life. I`m not the type to jump around, I`m more of a mellow fellow. I like quiet moments, cuddles, and gentle pats. I`m quite the charmer, with my shaggy coat and sweet disposition. I`m a friend to all, always ready with a wagging tail and a friendly nuzzle. I`m just as happy to play as I am to lounge by your side. I`m the perfect companion for those peaceful afternoons or an easygoing walk in the park. So, why should you adopt me? Well, I promise to be your loyal friend, your confidante, and your source of unconditional love. I`ll be there to greet you with a wagging tail and a friendly nuzzle, no matter what kind of day you`ve had. With me, every day is a good day. So, what do you say? Are you ready to make a Buddy out of me? Come meet me at 2400 Lonestar Dr. any day between 12noon-6pm!

Story
Nova is such a good girl. But she definitely has that malamute energy! She still needs to learn some basic obedience, such as not jumping when excited. However, she doesn’t intend to hurt anyone EVER. She is a sweetheart. We just no longer have the time in the day to give her the exercise she needs.

Story
Saiph is an adult spayed female husky/Malamute mix. When she first came to us she was very shut down and it was apparent that she had recently weaned a litter and had been found as a stray in Houston.  Saiph was heartworm positive but handled treatment really well and she is fully recovered.   She is crate trained and house trained. She needs to be the only dog in the household. We do not feel she would do well with cats either due to observed prey drive.  She is very sweet people, and she is overall fairly quiet. She has the softest "wooo" of all time and is an extremely low energy dog but would enjoy walks with her people. If you are interested in adopting Saiph, please visit RedstoneHuskyRescue.org/adopt for her adoption profile and application. ##1568471##

Story
Mordecai is a young Malamute that is very sweet and loving, but is indeed a puppy in a very large body. When he first came to us he had been mauled by two other dogs and he was battling mange. He has since recovered beautifully from all of that. His pictures here show some of that healing progress.  He is around 70 lbs currently, but may gain over the next year or so as he grows. Being so young and having had so little structure or boundaries in his life prior to coming to us, Mordecai does lack some impulse control and will need to build a bond and relationship with his new people in order to be his best self.  Mordecai is learning to sit patiently, but he is so highly food motivated sometimes he cannot contain himself. He would do best in a home without children or with older children that won't be easily knocked over as he doesn't manage his own large body well at times.  With time and patience, Mordecai will make a great dog for someone looking for a companion or an adventure buddy.  Petfinder: If you are interested in adopting Mordecai, please visit RedstoneHuskyRescue.org/adopt for his adoption profile and application.  ##1872709##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Adoption info can be found in the last paragraph of this pet's profile or by visiting this direct link:   https://www.dfwpuppatrol.com/info/adoption Oswald is a super cute Akita pup that is going to be a BIG boy when he's all grown up. He was born around the end of November and at a little under 4 months old is already 35 lbs. Oswald is super smart and is crate trained and potty trained with a doggie door. He loves to eat and knows exactly when it is breakfast time and dinner time. He loves toys and treat puzzles. True to his breed he is very aloof with strangers and will attach to his new family. He loves to get pets from his humans, but is not interested in cuddling. The Akita is a large, strong, independent, and dominant dog and so far Oswald is showing all of those traits. He will need an experienced owner that can continue to socialize and train him so he will grow up to be the best dog he can be. Since he is so young he will need to stay local to DFW so he can be neutered once he is old enough.  If you are interested in adding this pup to your family, please click here (or copy and paste https://www.dfwpuppatrol.com/info/adoption into your browser) to view our adoption info and where you will find the link to fill out our online Pre-Adoption Application.  Any questions can be directed to us at info@dfwpuppatrol.com.  All of our adoptable pups have a minimum requested adoption fee of $250  (pups 6 months and older) and $350  (pups under 6 months old), regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
