Story

Zeke was a rescue dog "twice" in his life. He was found when he was a puppy and taken to the Maricopa County Animal Shelter where he was soon adopted. 7 years later, he was found again and taken back to same shelter and I adopted him in January of 2023 after our long time dog had to be put down. Zeke has a great personality; he loves other dogs and kids. He loves going on walks and has a great voice. It is best to have Zeke in a home with a yard and definitely with kids. He is house/doggie door trained and is an overall good boy. I have to sell my house quickly and will not be able to take him with me. I don't want to have to take him back to the shelter so I am hoping someone will want to adopt Zeke. There is NO ADOPTION FEE for Zeke - I just want him to have a good home.

MEET  PUDGE!!! This big boy is a ton of love!!!  He is smart and well behaved~ He's already housebroken, and kennel trained. Pudge is a gentle pup and mostly mild mannered, but is medium energy boy, so he will still need a normal amount of exercise each day. Pudge walks well on a leash! A good walk on a leash, some play in the backyard, or even some hiking would be perfect for this pup. He loves his pets from his people, but he's not a "needy" type of dog that needs to pet ALL day long like some dogs. Pudge listens well and learns new things quickly, so he can learn all kinds of new tricks! He already knows basic obedience commands, but would love to learn some new specialty tricks.  He does like toys, so lots of Kongs and Nylabones would be great to keep him busy when you're not home. He absolutely LOVES to play fetch, and his favorite toy is his football.  He does enjoy the water, but is not a fan of baths, so we're unsure if he'd be a water/swim dog.  Pudge can be a little shy when first getting to know someone new, but a little bit of sweet talk, and he is your new best friend! This goofy, silly boy unfortunately is not fond of Kids or other Dogs, so please only 'no kid' and 'no animal' homes. He has not yet been cat tested, but given his unfavorability with other dogs and kids, we would recommend most likely no kitties. Harley is a great companion dog. She is extremely loyal to her owner. Nothing makes her happier than to know her human is safe and happy. She is very affectionate, loves kisses and can cuddle all night. She is not much of a barker but has a huge smile instead. She loves going on walks and playing outside. The only time she’ll jump up is to give you a big hug if ask her for one. We love Harley and want her to go to a loving home where she belongs. She still has lots of years left with a vibrant life. She was recently taken to the vet about a month ago for a check up and is very healthy. Although Harley gets a long with most dogs, we ask that she be an only dog because she can get jealous when the human affection she dare craves so bad is shared with other dogs(we have 10), that she’s been known to hold grudges with the other animals. Almost as if it were a competition. She is great with children though and all other humans of any age. Her loyalty to them is nothing sheer of amazement.

Guido is a 2 year old 65 lb bull terrier. He is very much a classic bull terrier- very obstinate, high energy and moody. He needs an owner or a couple that is very firm with him and is experienced with training methods for his breed. I prefer that the person has already owned an EBT. He must have a decent yard and he loves walks. He needs lots of exercise. He is kennel trained and used to doggy daycare. He knows basic commands and is used to going into stores. I’ve had Guido since he was 6 weeks old, from a private breeder in Phoenix. I have been struggling with Guido since he turned 5 months old. This is when I got the feeling that I was in over my head with him. He has a very strong personality and seems to be more obedient and submissive with men. He will often growl at me when I tell him to do something. Now that I unexpectedly have a grandchild, I do not trust his behaviors around children. I love him so much but I know in my heart that someone out there is the right fit for him.

Now, she's more of like one of those wind tunnels that come out of nowhere quickly with a burst of oomph but then are gone quickly and you're wondering what happened.   Annie loves to go on walks and is slowly learning that we don't have to be in a race, but she gets most of her exercise from swimming and running around the yard with her foster family.  *Annabelle is being treated for valley fever which includes daily AM/PM medication. She also get's an allergy shot every few months.
