Please note this dog is NOT an official Underdog dog, and you will be connected with the person who has the dog. Please Contact Shelley, 310-344-1722, shelleycampeau@gmail.com:   MEET BEANS #2!! Beans is currently being fostered for PACC, but his current foster cannot adopt him and will need to return him if someone else cannot adopt him. Beans is sweet, curious, and sometimes a little goofy, rolling around on his back and laying upside down. He loves a post-meal pet and maybe a belly rub, and then a cuddle or snuggle. He is not much of a barker except when there is a knock on the door. He lets you know when he needs to go out in between his regular outings. He is house trained and crate trained. He will happily go into his crate (with a couple of treats) and mostly naps in there. He does have some separation anxiety (he is on trazadone), so the crate works well.  Beans is very food motivated, making him eager and easy to train. He likes a couple of good walks a day, but he is pretty chill. He will happily go on a hike, but he also loves to nap. He would love a home with a yard where he can romp around and play. However, he is pretty low-key and likes an easy routine. He walks pretty well on a leash. He will start to pull a bit when he sees other dogs on walks, but he can usually be redirected with treats. He is also more confident when meeting people on walks than he was initially out of the shelter. He does not like vet visits. For this reason, he is given trazadone and gabapentin prior to his last vet visit. Overall, Beans is a great dog who continues to thrive in a real home. Please meet Beans today, so he doesn't end up back at the shelter. If you are interested in meeting this dog, please visit our website for our online application www.underdogaz.com  PLEASE NOTE: This dog is courtesy posted for another individual or Rescue. MEET MILLIE!! Looking to add a spark of joy to your life? Millie is your girl! This smart, spunky, and affectionate pup is eager to be your next adventure buddy and loyal best friend. Millie is house-trained, crate-trained, and full of personality. She loves tennis balls, stuffed toys (especially the squeaky ones!), and playing fetch like a champ. She’s recently started casual runs with her foster dad and would thrive as a hiking or jogging partner. At home, Millie is equal parts playful and cuddly. She enjoys exploring the yard or going on walks, then curling up for some cozy couch time. She’s working on perfecting her leash skills and can get excited when spotting other dogs or rabbits—but with consistency and guidance, she’s making great progress. Millie would do best in an active home with a secure yard and no other pets. While we’re still getting to know her around younger kids, she seems best suited for families with teens and up—especially since her greetings often involve happy hops and kisses! This sweet girl has recently found her voice and likes to keep watch for visitors. She’s alert, affectionate, goofy, and deeply loyal. Millie is ready to thrive with a confident, loving owner who can give her the structure and playtime she craves. Ready to meet Millie? Name: Annabelle “Annie” Sex: Female Age: 10 years old Breed: Boxer/Pittie Mix Weight: 60lbs Compatibility with other dogs: Good with playful, submissive dogs Compatibility with cats: Not good with cats, will chase Compatibility with kids: Great with kids House trained: Yes Spayed/Neutered: Yes Activity level: Moderate Obedience training: Well trained Personality/Behavior: Crate trained, Likes toys, Lap pet, Playful, Affectionate, Eager to please, Goofy Requirements: Meets the whole family; Active home; No cats in the home; Either no kids or older children in the home; Someone to continue daily valley fever meds and allergy medication MEET ANNABELLE aka Hurricane Annie!!! Sweet ol' Hurricane Annie! She's been with the rescue for 9 years awaiting her forever home. She's only had one meet and greet the entire time (and that didn't go very well given how rambunctious she was when she was younger). Miss Annie has turned a new leaf in her older years. She's sweet, friendly, well trained, dog friendly (as long as the other dog is playful and submissive) and is great with kids.  She loves to snuggle in the bed, get "zoomies" but isn't a total hurricane anymore. Now, she's more of like one of those wind tunnels that come out of nowhere quickly with a burst of oomph but then are gone quickly and you're wondering what happened.   Annie loves to go on walks and is slowly learning that we don't have to be in a race, but she gets most of her exercise from swimming and running around the yard with her foster family.  *Annabelle is being treated for valley fever which includes daily AM/PM medication. She also get's an allergy shot every few months. Story
MEET STITCH #3!!! Stitch is a sweet, lovable pup who is equal parts playful and cuddly. He's a smart boy with a gentle heart and a big personality. He is looking for a forever home where he can be close to his humans and enjoy the simple joys of life. Stitch is a champion napper and loves his sleep so much, you'll often need to wake him up in the morning. He is not one for long outdoor adventures. He enjoys getting some fresh air, but when he is done, he will let you know he is ready to come back inside by crying at the door. Stitch loves his toys and playing tug-o-war which he usually winds. Although he tears through toys, he is not at all destructive around the house. Expect to see energetic bursts of zoomies followed by well-earned rest.  Stitch is an affectionate companion. He adores belly rubs, butt scratches, and all the attention you are willing to give. He is not clingy, but he does love being near his people. He is treat motivated and gentle. He is incredibly smart and listens well, especially when chicken treats are involved. He takes treats very gently and responds to certain phrases with excitement. Say, "Ready, Freddy," at bedtime and he will race to his bed, knowing a treat is on the way. Stitch is a great dog and is looking for someone who enjoys a mix of play, cuddles, and calm companionship. He would do best in a home without children and other pets. Meet Stitch today! Story
MEET SMAUG! Smaug is a very happy goofy boy. He is not very demanding of attention and likes to play with his toys just in the company of a human. Smaug is a quick learner, but would need to be trained on your household's routine. Separation anxiety and things going on outside can sometimes get to him, but he is very easy to calm down. Smaug is great with kids and can be high energy at times. Smaug has been around other dogs. Smaug loves hoses and his mini pool and all sorts of water. He takes treats very gently, but is still learning how to be more gentle taking toys (he just gets too excited). Walks great on a leash with pulling happening less frequently. He would love to meet you and has a butt that never stops wiggling. From day one Smaug sits and waits for his meals and is so patient with all food. Smaug loves a good bath and belly rubs. He will require bringing a toy on each walk to show off. Has basic training, but will need more depending on your situation and lifestyle with him. Smaug is a great guy and looks forward to meeting you! If you are interested in meeting this dog, please visit our website for our online application www.underdogaz.com.November 8, 2025, 10:55 am
