Story
I adopted Callie in 2018 she was 4 months old. I got a divorce and I moved into an apartment that does not allow me to have her because of her size. My parents took her and have been caring for her for 3 years now. They are looking to move soon and cannot take her. I am not financially able to move into a house yet and I cannot take her back in my apartment. She is a very sweet girl. She is not around other pets so I don’t know how she does but she has been around my children and never had a problem. There is no rehoming fee because I just want her to go to a loving home that will take care of her and love her.

Story
Donnie and Marie arrived at Satchel’s Last Resort after being pulled from animal services, carrying with them a past we can only guess was deeply painful. Their bodies told a story their voices couldn’t—both were emaciated, crawling with internal and external parasites, and suffering from severely neglected skin. It was clear they had endured far more than any dog should. But in the middle of all that hardship, Donnie and Marie shined. From the moment they came through our doors, their tails wagged with a quiet, hopeful joy. Their eyes, though tired, lit up every time someone knelt down to say hello. Despite the tremendous neglect they had experienced, both dogs greeted the world with sweetness, trust, and a contagious happiness that spread to everyone who met them. What’s even more remarkable is how much they adore other dogs and people. Their resilient spirits seem to remind us all that love can outgrow even the hardest beginnings. Donnie and Marie don’t dwell on what happened to them—they’re too busy embracing every soft bed, every gentle touch, and every new friend with open hearts. Today, they are safe, healing, and learning what it means to be cherished. And in return, they brighten our days with the kind of joy only the bravest souls can give. They have, obviously, endured a lot together. While they would be thrilled to remain a pair, we truly believe each would adapt well to a separate home if it meant finding the right match. What matters most is that they both get the chance they deserve—to be loved, protected, and valued. Donnie and Marie have so much affection to give, and each one would make a remarkable companion for a family ready to open their heart. Recent bloodwork shows they both have heartworm disease and they will soon be starting treatment. They'd love to be in a loving foster home for the 3 months required calm time.

Story
Sadie is about 7 years old. I originally bought her as a gift for my mother. Unfortunately, after my mother passed and my father was no longer able to take care of her I took her in. I’m currently expecting a baby with my wife and with our current household of having two dogs already, a third is too much for us. Sadie holds a very special place in my heart and I want to ensure she gets a great home. She LOVES toys. She is gentle, emotionally aware, sweet, and a cuddle bug . She is an incredibly nice dog and although she’s mixed with American Bulldog she has the personality and heart of a golden. She deserves an amazingly safe and loving home. I just need help finding her one!

Story
A wonderful momma here at FLUFF. She’ll be ready for adoption or foster the week of 12/15/2025 (possibly sooner or slightly later!).  This amazing mama was discovered by a demolition team just in time—found hiding in a house with her nine babies. Thankfully, the crew did their due diligence and checked the home before starting work, giving this little family a second chance at life. From the moment she arrived at the Rescue Center, she became a team favorite. She adores everyone she meets, walks beautifully on a leash, and has the sweetest, most soulful face. She’s gentle, loving, and so deserving of a safe and happy forever home. https://www.fluffanimalrescue.org/adoption-application My adoption fee includes my sterilization, microchip and registration, all core vaccines to date, dewormer and 1st month's Flea and Heartworm Preventatives. Thanks for considering adoption! *Information deemed reliable, but not guarenteed* ##2571870##
