Meet Lulu   Lulu is 1.5 year old Bulldog and Springer Spaniel mix! This unique combo is what makes her the cutest panda bear on the block   Along with being extremely cute, Lulu truly has the best personality! She loves her people and does great with other dogs. Lulu is affectionate and even good meeting strangers Lulu is currently enrolled in our prison training program to learn her commands and so far is doing well. She will complete the program at the end of March and be ready for adoption then. We have learned that she does not like cats so her future family will need to be cat-free! &#226&#157&#140 One important thing about Lulu though, is she does have pretty severe allergies. The poor girl came to us with a really bad yeast infection and irritated skin, but with allergy shots and a prescription diet we’ve managed to get her all cleared up   Lulu’s future family will need to understand the financial commitment required, for her allergies, to keep her healthy but we think it’s 100% worth every penny for this amazing girl! Meet Debo! He's a big giant baby and thinks he's a lap dog. His owner found himself homeless living in a condemned building. He agreed to surrender Debo considering his living conditions.He's great with other dogs but not yet cat tested.Debo has also had two weeks of intensive training. He has learned to walk beside his person, sit, stay, lay, and go to his place.House-trained, crate-trained, fully-vetted & microchipped.Debo does have a fear of certain strangers and needs to be kept safe by his owner when meeting new people.Apply to meet this handsome guy at ricopetrecovery.org

Kona is a year old 65 pound beauty! Kona was left in a garage for over a month and we are told was part of an abusive household. She was taken in by a caring neighbor. Kona takes a few minutes to warm up to men but does warm up quickly. She ADORES kids. Kona is house trained and good with other dogs, but she does play rough. Newman is a gorgeous boy that is good with humans and other dogs. He was rescued from Franklin County Dog Shelter after being returned for not liking cats. He was placed on the rescue only list. So we pulled him.Newman is a big love bug that loves couches, blankets and time with his toys in the yard. He is a great companion for a human needing a walking friend! He is 70 pounds. Isnt she gorgeous?! Stevie just wanted to give you an update in her journey. Stevie has been in our care for two weeks now and is still seeking a foster in the Columbus area.Stevie was pulled from the pound after being surrendered during a welfare check She had multiple non-contagious skin infections, overgrown nails, and no fur.Her snow white fur is starting to grow back with the help of oral medications and medicated baths. Stevie is a happy girl around 2 years old. She gets along with other dogs, enjoys going on walks, and loves all people no matter what size!You can apply to foster Miss Stevie at ricopetrecovery.org. We will add some videos of Stevie in the comments. #fosteringsaveslives #GlowUp #rescuedismyfavoritebreedAdditional info: our vet has recommended holding off on vaccines while Stevie finishes all of her medications (approximately 4 weeks in total). Stevie takes her pills easily in sliced American cheese each evening. She doesnt love baths but she does tolerate them Stevie has been good with other dogs but prefers not to share her food dish. She is eating and drinking a lot while taking her steroids. Stevie has not been cat tested. She loves kids and all people. Stevie does pull a little on a leash and often detours to roll in the grass. She is currently kenneled and has not been indoors so we are unsure about house-training. Shes typically a quiet dog and doesnt bark often.

Dude is a huge dog with a personality to match. He’s got long, gangly legs and watching him run around the exercise yards is hilarious. We recently had a DNA test done on Dude and it turns out he’s a wonderful hodge-podge of several different breeds, and doesn’t resemble a single one of them! Dude gets along very well with some dogs, and is picky about others, so bring your dog in to meet him! He was cat tested and seemed a little afraid of them but showed no signs of aggression.
