Say hi to Fergie! This sweet 4 year old Boxer came to us via a rescue partner who got her from an Amish puppy mill. She has had a rough start to life, but is now ready for a life of luxury! Don't let her serious face fool you! This girl has turned in to quite a lover! Once she gets comfortable with you she is a cuddler and there is nothing sweeter than watching her whole body wiggle when she sees you. Fergie will need a patient, quite home while she adjusts. She is good with other dogs (although super energetic dogs are a bit much for her), will chase cats but has never shown interest in harming them, and would be best in a home without small children. The sudden movements and loud antics make her nervous. Who can blame her ? ;) Overall Fergie is a sweet, docile girl who is ready to find her happily ever after! She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and HW negative. She does well in a crate, ok on a leash, and has done great with potty training. Ahem… clears throat… taps microphone… H-hi everyone. Um. My name is Garth. (Please don’t look at me all at once.) I came in as a stray on 12/11/25, and they think I’m about 5 years old. I’m… uh… a handsome guy, apparently. I didn’t smile for the camera today because—well—this is all a lot. Crowds are scary. Cameras are scary. The shelter is scary. 😟 I’m very shy and I tend to stand close to you because you make me feel safe. I kind of look to my person for protection, like, “Is this okay? Are we good?” My eyes might look sad right now, but that’s just because I haven’t found my place yet. I’m hoping—very quietly—that someone kind will see me, take me home, and help me learn that the world isn’t so scary after all. Meet Somersault!! He came in as a stray on 11/5/25, and we think he’s about 6 years old. Life hasn’t been easy for this sweet boy but his spirit hasn’t been broken. He’ll need soft food, lots of TLC, and he will be having his teeth examined soon to help him feel more comfortable. Despite his hardships, Somersault greets the world with a wagging tail, bright eyes, and a heart full of hope. He’s incredibly friendly, joyful, and ready to love anyone who gives him the chance. Meet this incredible survivor! Found in Tipton County, this sweet boy was skin and bones, hairless, and overlooked by so many. We couldn’t leave him behind, and he’s come so far—from 17 to 36 lbs! With love, warmth, and plenty of food, his personality has blossomed. He adores other dogs, all people, his crate, and especially toys and sweaters. He’s house-trained, food-motivated, and ready for his forever home. Could it be with you? Once adopted he will travel via the Rescue Transport to his new family. They travel every weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the north east, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185.
