Based on the experience of volunteers who are very familiar with her personality, she seems to be comfortable with women from the get-go, but she can be a little leery of men, and needs a slow introduction to them. However, once she gets to know you (male or female), she will shower you with kisses and want to spend all her time near you. Nala is also selective about dogs and would likely be better suited to a home without small children. If you are a person who wants a dog that can share your active lifestyle and can give Nala the guidance and environment she needs, you will gain a devoted companion who will likely never tire out before you do.

Harley is a 3-year-old female tri-color American bully. She has a lot of energy and loves to play with her wubi (kong). She carries it with her everywhere she goes. She weighs 53 lb and is very strong. She needs a yard to play in and a family who is willing to walk her. She will not go to the bathroom outside when it's raining unless she goes on a walk. She WILL go in the house if you don't walk her when it rains. However, she is housetrained & stays in my son's bedroom when we're not home. We have chihuahuas who do not like her & have to keep them separated. She seems to want to play with them but doesn't like larger dogs while on walks. So she may need to be the biggest dog. But we have not brought her around other dogs. I don't want her to be tossed out on the street again. I will require a vet to be in place for her. And I'd love to keep in touch as we have had her 5 mos & care about her well-being.
