MEET FORREST Forrest holds a special place in our hearts! Crawling his paralized self to safety only for the public to turn around and treat him like he was a problem. He was never the problem! He knew that if he got himself to safety the right people were going to find him and boy did he get lucky! Forrest was picked up by a rescuer and brought to the vet for attention. He now has a wheel chair and can cruise all over the place! He is living the best life in his foster home and is SO ready to find a home to call his own where he will be loved and treated how a sweet, kind and happy pup like him should be treated!

I have a genuine love for people :) I am sweet and loving with my people. I am a little more picky with my doggy friends. Which basically means I would be best in a single dog home. My big face will fit perfectly into your hands for loads of kisses and cuddles. And I have a super huggable neck and don't weigh TOO much to sleep in your bed or on your lap or even on the couch :D Just adopt me so I can find the best napping area soon!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Harley is a 3-year-old female tri-color American bully. She has a lot of energy and loves to play with her wubi (kong). She carries it with her everywhere she goes. She weighs 53 lb and is very strong. She needs a yard to play in and a family who is willing to walk her. She will not go to the bathroom outside when it's raining unless she goes on a walk. She WILL go in the house if you don't walk her when it rains. However, she is housetrained & stays in my son's bedroom when we're not home. We have chihuahuas who do not like her & have to keep them separated. She seems to want to play with them but doesn't like larger dogs while on walks. So she may need to be the biggest dog. But we have not brought her around other dogs. I don't want her to be tossed out on the street again. I will require a vet to be in place for her. And I'd love to keep in touch as we have had her 5 mos & care about her well-being.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Adoption Application HEADLINER : Lively, Lovely, LaLa, aka Lala-palooza, Lala-pop! PERSONALITY : It's hard to believe that Lala hasn't been snapped up as yet. She's smart and loves everyone she meets. This energetic girl loves fresh veggies, fruit, ice cubes and a vigorous "butt scratch." Have you ever had that friend or relative that overstays their welcome? You know you have. Do not despair as there is a solution. Lala definitely has the bulldog "toots" that are guaranteed to clear out a room (or unwanted guests). Just remember to "breathe through your mouth". :) If you're looking for a dog with the personality of a potato, Lala is not the dog for you; lazy is not in Lala's DNA. If you want a hiking or running companion or a dog (with training) that would excel in lure coursing, agility, fly ball or any other high energy sport, Lala's your girl. Ahhh, if only there were a way to harness all that energy. FAVORITE ACTIVITIES : Lala is a high energy pup that loves to fetch... though she hasn't quite grasped the idea of releasing yet, she is working on it. Lala is a pup that never passes up the opportunity for a good game of tug of war. MEDICAL ISSUES : None. WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST KIND OF HOME : Lala would do best in an active home with a fenced yard where she can run around to her heart’s content and burn some of that high energy off. Lala can quite play rough with other dogs. A home where she the only dog soaking up the attention or a home with another large dog that matches her energy would be best. Kids older than 12 would be best as Lala may knock a smaller child down. Lala would greatly benefit from positive reinforcement obedience classes. Though Lala loves to go for a ride, she does get car sick so best not to feed her before she hops in the car.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Adoption Application Headliner: Itsy, The Sweetest Potato Ever! Personality: Itsy, is a sweet, lovable, cuddle bug, with no aggression whatsoever who like any bulldog, has a stubborn streak. If she doesn't want to do something, she will just look at you with this pitiful look in her eyes. Favorite Activities: She loves to play with other dogs, occasionally gets the zoomies running around the back yard. Again, she's a bulldog so low activity with this girl. Medical Issues: Itsy came into the rescue with pretty bad skin and a lot of missing hair. Her skin is all cleared up but there are places the hair did not grow back. She may or may not grow that back but definitely does not take away from her cuteness! What Would be the Best Kind of Home: Itsy would love a home where her people would be home most of the day to dote on her. She just wants to be loved. Another dog for her to play with would be great. She needs patience and someone willing to work with her on finishing up her potty training.  Additional Comments: Itsy is a wonderful dog and with some house training will be the PERFECT pet to someone who will love her as much as she will love them! Click here to watch a video of Itsy.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
