Kevin has developed behavioral issues with my husband, jumping up on him. Kevin is 65 lbs of lapdog. While he is loving and full of energy, he has no concept of just how big he is, we are older and he has knocked my husband down after knee surgery, risking my husband's recovery. We can not keep him because he is such a bundle of energy. He is 3 years old and still more than we can take care of, When we have gone to the dog park, Kevin is more interested in the people than other animals. Kevin is a good dog, he just needs a home that can take care of such a high-energy, loving, lapdog. I've updated this posting because I really need to find Kevin a home.

Caleb possesses all of our favorite qualities that make him an amazing forever companion. He is far and away one of our most dog-friendly boys, who is always ready to welcome new fur friends into the mix and show off all his favorite toys. He was also a big playgroup favorite at the shelter he came from, and seemed to be able to convince even the shyest dogs that they could still have some fun in the shelter as long as he was around! Caleb also has amazing potential to learn all the things you need him to in order to adapt to your lifestyle. He's incredibly human and treat focused, and picks up quickly on new commands with a big, dopey smile on his face. And you guys...we get it...sometimes handling bigger dogs can be intimdating. But our Caleb is an easy peasy dream on a leash. Caleb is a big goofy boy, and we love that about him. He wants love and human snuggles all the time, which may be a little too much for little kids who don't want to get knocked over. So we think older kids would be a good start for him. But, being he's seemingly easy to train, he's got the potential to learn calmer behavior when meeting new people and doesn't have a mean bone in his body.

The kind fellow took me to Austin Animal Center, where I was bathed and fed, where I met a foster family that were volunteering that day, a foster family who had spent ten minutes that morning in their automobile promising one another that they would not go home with another dog.I am Kermit the rosy-minded promise breaker, the one that makes a beautiful liar of you. On the way to their home I slept with my head on her lap as he drove me to meet my foster brothers and sister.
