We are just LOVING watching this velvety piglet get her shine back, and have you SEEN those gorgeous, impossibly amber eyes? To say she LOVES her humans is a HUGE understatement. DO NOT tell her that she is NOT a lap dog BonBon loves her food, LOVES a beef cheek, and loves a good nibble-kiss (human corncobs all around). She's okay to nap in her crate, getting the hang of her spa treatments, and is working hard on figuring out this 'indoor dog' thing.BonBon is super clever and such a smoosh; she's a true delight. She's all the squattiness that we love about these little piglets, so we'd prefer that she not need to manage a bunch of stairs in her new home.Otherwise, our puppy polar bear is ready to make herself right at home in some lucky person's heart just in time for Valentine's Day!Little girl does like to chase small animals, and her intentions are NOT pure if she catches them so, no cats or small animals for this girl, please Lovely girl is heartworm-positive, so she must stay close to our vets for his treatment.Don't worry; heartworm infection is way LESS scary than it sounds, and our team will provide all guidance for her care. **Before applying for Rambo, please understand that he needs a child-free, very low-traffic home and a family ready to take things at his pace and not push him to do anything before he is ready. A willingness to continue to work with his ABR-approved trainer is an absolute bonus.**Silky soft and seal-like, we can't get enough of the gorgeousness that is RamboHe's the ooiest, cartooniest caricature of a dog, and we can not get enough of THAT FACE He's got a tough name because he came from some sh*t, but little guy is all lover and ready for a soft couch, a warm lap, and some cozy snuggle times with his furever family. He's been through it, so he's understandably a little wary of the world and needs a family who understands that he needs compassion and patience to adjust to a new home and new setting. Thanks to the compassion and devotion of his foster family, though, Rambo is finally ready to feel fully trusting of humans. We are seeing him transition into a happier, better-adjusted dog. We understand that he may struggle once he moves into a new adopted home. Change can sometimes do that to dogs who are sensitive like Rambo, so its very important that anyone wanting to adopt Rambo be ready to give him the space, structure, and compassion he needs to thrive. But, once he settles in, watch out; They better have their cuddle pants on Rambo was 100% someone's once; he is potty trained and walks beautifully on a leash. He's okay in a crate and has fantastic house manners. Rambo won't be a match for a home with kids; loud noises and unpredictability are not for Rambo.Like his namesake, he just wants a good meal, a simple life, and a safe, loving home. Rambo is heartworm positive, so he does need to stay close to our vets for his treatment.BUT, never fear, heartworm infection is easily treated and will not recur with regular prevention.ABR will cover the cost of this treatment and provide all guidance for his appointments and aftercare. From a sad hospice bebe to a fun, hunky, fun boi, Edwin Evergreen is the reason we do what we do. We rescued a hydrocephalus boy who had days to live, but, thanks to the unwavering love of his epic foster and a whole pack of amazing doctors (and a bunch of $$ tahnks to our devoted donors), Edwin Evergreen is now a fun, leggy, bouncy boy who is now MIRACULOUSLY ready for his furever family. Edwin is young and fun, so we'd love for him to have his very own dog to romp with He's a typical puppy, so he's working on all his puppy things, so, needs a family willing to be patient while he learns to dogHe's a little bit vision-impaired, so he needs folks willing to meet him on his terms. So we think best if there are no littles in his furever home. Every dog is special, but sometimes, there's a dog so extra special that we have to do everything in our power to give them a chance at the life they deserve.So, we begged and pleaded and juggled and planned, maybe we cried a little, and finally, Huey is ours. And, even though he's still settling and decompressing, we already know that we were RIGHT to think that this dog is SPECIAL. Foster mama describes him as a perfect companion. He's not barky, or jumpy, or grumpy.He's got a tail wag and a smile for every creature he's met.And, while he may not ever be a wrestle buddy, Huey will happily snooze with pups and will welcome them to join him in his mini low-key foot stomping zoomie sessions. We think this guy is gentle enough to live with kiddos of all ages, and he is, OF COURSE, perfectly potty-trained.
