Story
Grace is the most gentle soul who is just looking for a family to call her own. This affectionate 4-year-old shepherd/pit bull mix is calm, easy going and even tempered. She gets along with dogs and people of all ages, and would be a wonderful addition to a family with young children. She enjoys playing with chewy toys, rolling in the grass outside and being near her people. She's a fairly low energy dog - one 30-45 minute walk in the morning is enough to keep her happy throughout the day. Grace is fully house trained and is so trustworthy in the house that a crate is not required. Grace has spent her entire life around dogs, and would like to have a dog friend in her forever home. And because she spent most of her life as an outdoor dog, Grace's new home must have a secure yard with a fence high enough to prevent her from going on her own explorations. Grace does try to chase squirrels outside, so it's likely she'd do the same with cats. Grace came to CAWS as an expectant mother, and although her puppies are all living on their own now, she still brings her maternal love to all people and dogs. She's a genuine cuddle bug, and waking up to her head resting on your stomach or shoulder is one of the best things ever.
