Story
Lala Dixie is ready to snuggle her way into your heart! She is uber-friendly and can't wait to make friends with everyone she meets. Lala is playful, sweet, and cuddly – she is actively seeking anyone who likes to snuggle, since it’s her favourite thing to do. She loves to play with her brother (Lalo Dixon) and take lots of naps – classic puppy life. Lala and her brother were rescued together, and Lala has a sweet and calm personality that we believe comes from being under her brother’s protection while surviving on their own. The first thing you will notice about Lala is her beautiful shiny black coat that is irresistibly silky soft – you can’t help but pet her! Her markings are striking - we love her white socks (feet) and white chest. She’s got a little white tuft on her chin too – you get a closeup of this every time she comes in for kisses, which this pup loves to give. Lala’s sweet soulful eyes will hook you and you are sure to be rewarded with all her love and affection if you are lucky enough to be her special person. Lala’s personality is cautiously quiet and calm, but she warms up quickly to any attention – she loves to explore just as much as she loves to be snuggled right in your lap. Lala would fit right into a family with other dogs or cats (see her video for the briefest of cat tests), but she would also be perfectly happy to be the star of the show. Lala is currently 15 lbs, almost 4 months old, and we think she may be a Bulldog/Pit Terrier mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves his/her life as well as the life of another in its place. Lala Dixie is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/65f88a65809ebf19610ae2d3 Please email Tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $825 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
Grace is the most gentle soul who is just looking for a family to call her own. This affectionate 4-year-old shepherd/pit bull mix is calm, easy going and even tempered. She gets along with dogs and people of all ages, and would be a wonderful addition to a family with young children. She enjoys playing with chewy toys, rolling in the grass outside and being near her people. She's a fairly low energy dog - one 30-45 minute walk in the morning is enough to keep her happy throughout the day. Grace is fully house trained and is so trustworthy in the house that a crate is not required. Grace has spent her entire life around dogs, and would like to have a dog friend in her forever home. And because she spent most of her life as an outdoor dog, Grace's new home must have a secure yard with a fence high enough to prevent her from going on her own explorations. Grace does try to chase squirrels outside, so it's likely she'd do the same with cats. Grace came to CAWS as an expectant mother, and although her puppies are all living on their own now, she still brings her maternal love to all people and dogs. She's a genuine cuddle bug, and waking up to her head resting on your stomach or shoulder is one of the best things ever. If Grace sounds like a good fit for your home, please fill out an application at http://caws.org/adoption-application. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationApril 19, 2024, 6:12 am

Story
It will only take a few minutes for you to agree that Lalo Dixon is just the bestest boy. This sweet boy is currently 22 lbs, almost 4 months old, and we think he may be a Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! Lalo Dixon is such a friendly, gentle boy. He was rescued with his sister (Lala Dixie) and was her protector when on the streets. Despite his rough start, he treats everyone as a friend and doesn’t seem to have the stranger danger that is normal at this age. Lalo is cautiously inquisitive to his surroundings and wants to explore everything! He will come running right back to you tho, because he is entirely convinced that he is a lapdog whose sole job is deliver kisses and snuggles. The first thing you will notice about Lalo is his super soft shiny black coat and distinctive white markings –such a distinguished gentleman. He has adorable white socks (feet) with one white sleeve, and a gorgeous white chest. And of course you can’t help but notice the cutest white patch on his nose! His eyes are vibrant and soulful – this puppy will capture your heart right away with his expressions and personality. Lalo is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Story
Cobra Bubbles is a special needs dog in a foster home in Moab, UT. Meet Cobra Bubbles aka CB! This sweet boy was brought to us from Monument Valley where he had been abandoned after his family's home burned down. We guess he is an "exotic" bully breed that is unfortunately paralyzed in his back legs most likely due to poor breeding. This has left him incontinent, but with acupuncture treatments from our wonderful vets at Mill Creek Vet in Moab, we're starting to see some improvement. His wonderful foster, a vet tech, has found helpful ways to decrease urine leakage with regular bladder expression. He mostly has bowel movements outside but loses control intermittently when he gets excited. She has also found that wrapping his back legs helps reduce drag sores. Despite all that CB is up against and has been through he's a happy boy in good spirits, especially since the donation of a cart to help him get around more easily and the stroller his foster bought him. She tells us that he LOVES to cruise around in his stroller! Both of these items will be included in his adoption as well. His wonderful foster is available to chat if you'd like to learn more about his care. Apply today if your heart sees CB the way we do!
