Story
Griff has had a rough start in life. One of our long time volunteers found him tied to a tree in horrible shape. We took him in to Apollo and got him medical attention. He is young, confused and the shelter noises make him very anxious. He is the cutest and quirkiest pup that would make someone laugh and have a lot of fun. We took care of his medical needs and all he has is a little bit of hair loss. That just makes him more special. At less than a year old Griff has suffered abandonment and neglect. We hope for an active family willing to love him and train him with patience and understanding of his horrible past. He is neutered and up to date on shots. He is anxious at the rescue and it’s been difficult making a clear determination if he is dog reactive or not. We believe once outside of the noise and with proper decompression time he could tolerate other dogs. This would take time and slow introductions are recommended.Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided.If you are interested in adopting, please complete our Pre-application: https://form.jotform.us/asr628/ShortAdoptionInquiry

Manny came from the same home as Hazel and is now thriving in foster care, showing just how sweet, resilient, and loving he truly is. Manny has the best puppy-like energy — playful, silly, and fun in all the right ways. He’s incredibly social and friendly with all people and does wonderfully with other dogs and cats. He loves being included and is happiest when he’s spending time with his people or playing with furry friends. He has settled beautifully into his foster home and does great with routines. Manny is crate trained, sleeps through the night, and is an easy, adaptable companion. Whether he’s goofing around, playing with a dog buddy, or relaxing after a fun day, Manny brings smiles wherever he goes. After being overlooked early in life, Manny is truly blossoming and is ready to give his whole heart to a family who will cherish him as much as he deserves. Story
Beau came back to rescue when he lost his human. He is a loving little guy who wants to devote himself to someone and be a cuddlebug again. He lives with other dogs, and although he will not play with them, he is fine around them. He would like to be the only dog in his forever home, though he would not mind having a cat to share with.While he is not house or crate trained, he will use potty pads, primarily because in his previous home, his senior mom had him use them instead of going outside most of the time. He used only to eat human food, but we have him on Fresh Pet now, and he looks forward to his meals and treats.Beau walks well on a leash and is good about going for a ride, so he would be fine as a travel companion, but is okay when he has to stay home. At home, he likes to bundle himself in a blanket and lie back, waiting to be cuddled.He is fully vetted- current with vaccines, neutered, micro chipped, and on flea/tick and heartwormprevention.

Meet Precious! She's a six-year-old, 18.2 lb. Chiweenie looking for a forever family. Sadly, her owner passed away earlier this year. Precious is spayed current on vaccines, microchipped and  heartworm negative. She's crate trained and working on house training. Precious would do well with older children and is getting along well with the resident dogs in her foster home. Precious loves walks, snuggles and cuddles. She rides well in the car and always ready for an adventure. She will steal your spot on the couch! Precious is ready for a loving forever home.   Adoption fee $275.
