Story
Griff has had a rough start in life. One of our long time volunteers found him tied to a tree in horrible shape. We took him in to Apollo and got him medical attention. He is young, confused and the shelter noises make him very anxious. He is the cutest and quirkiest pup that would make someone laugh and have a lot of fun. We took care of his medical needs and all he has is a little bit of hair loss. That just makes him more special. At less than a year old Griff has suffered abandonment and neglect. We hope for an active family willing to love him and train him with patience and understanding of his horrible past. He is neutered and up to date on shots. He is anxious at the rescue and it’s been difficult making a clear determination if he is dog reactive or not. We believe once outside of the noise and with proper decompression time he could tolerate other dogs. This would take time and slow introductions are recommended.Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided.If you are interested in adopting, please complete our Pre-application: https://form.jotform.us/asr628/ShortAdoptionInquiry

It’s sad to say I have to give my boy to a new home, but happy because he needs someone who gonna spend time with him and give extra extra love. He a BIG cuddle buddy who regularly will love on you and be all on you. Hes good with kids, loves to spend lots of time with the family and be Up uour butt if you allow him. He likes his cook food as well as belly rubs nonstop, lol he likes to take walks, but he does never been an outside dog for some odd reason he Does not like baths. lol or the rain. He loves to play & sleep with you

Hi, I’m Cookie, a 9-month-old Chi mix with a tiny frame, a big heart, and an even bigger love for toys. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and kids, and I’m the kind of girl who warms up quickly with a little attention. I’m playful, curious, and confident, and I absolutely light up when someone wants to toss a toy or sit down and cuddle with me. I may be small, but I bring a whole lot of sweetness everywhere I go. I’m not sure how I feel about cats just yet, but I’m gentle, affectionate, and always ready to make new friends. I love being held, love being doted on, and love having someone to follow around. My name is Feisty, and I’m a 3-year-old Chihuahua mix with a big personality packed into a small frame. I am currently in foster care. I love going for walks and jogs, chasing squirrels, and feeling the wind on my face during car rides, especially when I can peek out the window. I’m loyal and affectionate once I trust you, but I like to take things at my own pace and prefer to be the one to initiate that bond.
