Story
This is Penny. We have had her for 10 years and due to relocating cross country and not knowing where we’re gonna live we must surrender her. . She is very shy and not a confident pup. she has lived with two dogs and with two different cats at different times different times and has been “OK“ with all. she just needs a little time to adjust. She is very shy. Loves to snuggle under the covers. She would do well with a quieter routine household.

Story
Milo is looking for his person, and we want to be honest about the good, the bad, and the challenging parts of who he is so we can find him the right home. Let’s start with the good! Milo is an incredibly easy houseguest. He is quiet, kennels on command, sleeps through the night in bed with his foster mom, and has a very calm demeanor. He loves to snuggle, doesn’t destroy things, eats alongside the other dogs in his foster home without any food aggression, is wonderful for nail trims, is potty trained and walks great on a leash. He truly enjoys his daily walks! Now for the harder parts. Milo gets nervous in the car and will shake during rides. He also barks at the doorbell and when visitors come over. While he peacefully coexists with other dogs, he doesn’t really seek out their companionship. The biggest challenge is that Milo does not do well with men and may bite if he feels uncomfortable. He has made progress with his foster dad and will occasionally jump into his lap, but building that trust has taken time and patience. Because of this, we feel Milo would do best in a single female home. Situations involving male visitors, such as repair workers or guests, would require Milo to be safely kenneled. We know this may not paint Milo in the best light, but the truth is he is a really wonderful dog who simply needs the right environment to feel safe and secure. Milo is an almost 6 year old Chihuahua mix weighing 15 pounds. If you think you may be Milo’s person, applications can be submitted at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. Story
Puchi had his dental last week and had 5 teeth extracted. Not only does his breath smell much better, but you can already tell he’s feeling better too. We are glad those painful teeth are gone and that he’s on the road to feeling his best. Puchi is a sweetheart who quickly wins over everyone he meets. He will do best in a home where someone works from home or is home most of the time and doesn’t mind sharing their lap. He bonds very quickly with his person and needs a home where he’s allowed to sleep in bed at night. His foster mom says he sleeps on her back all night long! While Puchi loves his naps, he also enjoys playing with other small dogs and would love a small canine companion in his forever home. Puchi is potty trained but may mark for the first day or two in a new environment. He does great for baths and nail trims, is a quiet little guy, and gets very excited for treats. Puchi is a 6 1/2 lb, 10 year old Chihuahua looking for his forever family. If you are interested in adopting Puchi, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. Due to his small size, Puchi is available to adult-only homes. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. Story
My name is Otter and my fosters love me a lotter! That's because I am such a snuggle bug and lap dog. I am learning so much in my foster home, like the doggie door, house training and crate training. I was scared of the other dogs at first, but now I am friends with everyone. I love to wrestle and play chase with small dogs my size, Usually I have a toy or nylabone nearby because I discovered just how awesome those things are! I usually hang out where ever you are and am a great office assistant for my foster mom who works from home. And the sweetest thing about me is I make myself at home in your lap whenever I get the chance. I probably need a little more leash training, but other than that, I am ready to find my furever home!
