DOB: 5/28/2025 Breed: Shar Pei mix-Spayed female 35lbs-Microchipped & fully vaccinated-Negative for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, and on a monthly preventative*Adoption Fee $400*A little bit about me… Hey everybody, I’m Daisy Mae! I’m a rambunctious girl with a tomboy personality and a constant need for fun. I absolutely love anything that involves water, so be ready to get splashed! I can also be pretty clumsy but am guaranteed to keep you laughing with my goofy antics. I’m still learning my leash manners and how to focus, but I promise I’m trying! I’ll need someone who will be firm with me and help guide me so that I don’t think I run the show. With the right structure, I’ll blossom into the amazing companion I’m meant to be. If you’re looking for a happy pup who brings endless entertainment, come meet me!The highlights…-Very rambunctious-I will need all basic training -I love playing in water!-Silly personalityKey points to know…-Consistent Training & Structure: Shar Pei/Lab mixes are smart but can be stubborn and energetic. A routine with clear boundaries, positive reinforcement, and consistent training will help them thrive and grow into well-mannered adults. -Daily Exercise in a Must: This breed has a lot of energy. Regular walks, playtime, and mental stimulation (puzzles, chew toys, training games) are essential to keep them happy and prevent destructive boredom behaviors.-Socialization Early on Makes a Huge Difference: Expose them to new people, animals, and environments while they’re young. This helps balance the Shar Pei’s naturally cautious side with the Lab’s friendliness, leading to a confident, well-adjusted companion.

Story
Shiloh was originally found as a stray and taken in by a kind family.  Ultimately, she found her way into rescue.  Shiloh is an agile dog that loves to play ball and will always play with her doggy friends.  As her name suggests, she is shy when she meets new people, but with patience and positive reinforcement, she will become a happy family member.  Due to her energy level, she would do best in an active, but calm home, and with older children.  Shiloh is good with other dogs, but proper introductions and active oversight are necessary.  She is crate and doggy door trained.   Breed:  Pit Bull Size:  Medium Age:  2-3 years old Gender:  Female Activity Level:  Moderately Active   Shiloh is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Her adoption fee of $350 helps offset the rescue's medical expenses. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think she could be the right fit for you, please complete an adoption application*:   https://www.helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application/  *Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Applications are forwarded to the foster family for review and follow-up. September 21, 2025, 9:41 am

Story
Looking to rehome my dog Patrick. He’s an American pit bull terrier and he’s an adult male. He’s neutered and up to date on all his shots, vaccines, and microchipped. He’s a very fun dog to have and very excited. I can’t take him as I’ll be moving soon and I don’t have space for a pet. He’s very friendly with kids and adults. He does not bark and he likes toys and naps. If you would like to schedule a visit to see if Patrick fits your household, please message me. I’ll have the ownership and all paperwork ready the day of. He also has dog food, collar, leash, a toy and his dog treats. I look forward to meeting whoever his new owner will be.

Story
Scooby is wonderful with people and children of all ages. She is sweet and adorable. Unfortunately, she can't be trusted around other animals. She is my dad's dog and he is now in assisted living and can't take care of her. Everyone I know, myself included, already has animals. I am trying to find her a warm and loving home.

Story
NEEDS TO BE ADOPTED ASAP!!!!! We got Simba when he was a couple months old. He is a beautiful pit bull. He is 4 years old. We are looking for someone who will give him plenty of love and attention. After our second child arrived and was tested with severe allergies, we are unable to keep him and our busy schedules make it hard as well. He is a happy dog who loves to play and cuddle. Definitely needs someone who will give him attention and enjoys walks and playing outside. He does have some seasonal allergies. Is good around children. Will follow you anywhere. He is crate trained. We will provide crate, dog stand with bowls, all vet paperwork, leash/harness and allergy meds. Reach out with any questions! He does need a loving home very soon so we can focus on our babies health and completely cleaning our home to be pet dander free.

Story
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN MEETING MIA, PLEASE FIRST FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://pepperspals.org/adoption-application/ Mia is a beautiful, 8-year-old, pure-bred American Pit Bull Terrier who loves to snuggle and be with her people. This super-smart girl is kennel trained, potty trained, and good with small animals – including cats! Mia is good with most dogs (after a slow intro), but large dogs and high-energy dogs will not make great long-term companions. The dog park scene is much too chaotic for Mia, and she much prefers quietly lounging in her own private backyard. Yard time is a must for this sunbathing queen! At the end of the day (or whenever you’re away), Mia prefers the peace and comfort of her kennel. The structure of kennel-time helps settle Mia’s mind when she’s alone. Mia thrives in a structured environment where she knows exactly what to expect. We don’t know much about Mia’s past, but it’s clear she was abused and came to us with trust issues. The cool thing about Mia is that she wants to trust and looks to her people for guidance in situations that make her uncomfortable. She is very handler-motivated and excellent at listening to verbal cues. This special girl could use an exceptional dog owner who understands dog communication, is adept at recognizing their body language, and is comfortable advocating for her personal space. Please first fill out an adoption application if you’re interested in setting up an appointment to meet Mia: https://pepperspals.org/adoption-application/ **$100 Adoption fee includes: vaccinations, dewormed, spay, and microchipped.

Story
Tammy is a beautiful dog that was rescued three years ago. We believe she must have been in a bad environment before we got her. She is not a barker and is very gentle. She has been housed with other dogs and gets along fine. She has been with small children and is great with them. She needs a quiet environment and a peaceful setting. Her owner has been gravely ill and we must find her a good home. We love Tammy and want all the best for her.

Story
Annie is a 6 yrs old, sweet, loving gal who is great with people, & has never met a stranger. She was at our county shelter for 9 months and landed on the euthanasia list, due to space. We couldn’t stand to see her euthanized, as she was well loved by staff & volunteers alike, who were all advocating for her. Unfortunately, she does not get along with other dogs and I have been unsuccessful in intragrating her with the other 2 dogs in the home. Her positive traits are endless as she is crate trained, house trained, loves her stuffed animal, car rides, sunning herself and hanging out with people. She is lower energy and would fit into a variety of homes & likely would do well with older kids. She would be most successful and happiest in a home without other pets. She comes with a free training session, if potential adopter would like to utilize to help in the transition. She’s an amazing girl who deserves the world and we want to see her thriving in a loving family who adores her.

Meet Princess Ariel! Ariel was found in Casa Grande in the middle of nowhere! Thankfully a couple of city workers were out there and found her! Little girl was so scared. We scooped her up and placed her in a foster home. Her foster parents said she is such a good girl! She is a little quiet and shy until she gets comfortable. They say she has a little spicy side HA! Ariel is your typical puppy. She likes to chew on things and do what all puppies do! She will need work on her potty training and manners. Ariel is spayed, UTD on vaccines, and microchipped, Ariel is approximately 4 months old and weighs about 8 pounds. To meet Ariel, please fill out the application https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAWP/Dog
