Story
I named sweet this dog Blythe because that where I found her. Off the I-10 and she ran right up to me with a big smile. It was raining and she was alone so after waiting a while and making sure nobody was looking for her, I took her home to scottsdale. She’s been with me through christmas and has filled my heart with so much love. She’s energetic, curious, and playful, without an aggressive bone in her body. She’s seven months old and come from a breeder in Canada according to her chip. She gets along well with other dogs (played with two these past few days) and all people as well. She’s teething so needs a good chew toy and some attention but it’s all worth it with how she cuddles up to me. I need help fostering this dog- she doesn’t deserve to be in a shelter. Please help me this holiday season even if it’s for a couple weeks. No fee and i’ll leave you with some food.

❤️🐾 Sweet Pup Seeks His Best Friend (Forever) 🐾❤️ Every Rocky needs his Bullwinkle. Or so, that’s what Rocky (the 3 y/o, 58lb handsome pittie) thinks! Rocky is also seeking his forever home! He was saved from the euthanasia list at county after he was e-listed for being stressed in the shelter environment. We know, it can be scary there. Especially for a sweet boy like Rocky. Though, ever since he left county and went to his foster home - Rocky has really let his guard down and proven to be a SUPER HAPPY boy! He’s a big goober and never in short supply of entertainment for his foster family. As you can see from the photos — he LOVES his human foster siblings! His foster mom shared the following about him: ✅ He’s so sweet, gentle, energetic, affectionate and playful. Great guard dog. Plays fetch. ✅ Likes to play fakeout with his chew toy. Comes up to you with it to play, but when you reach for it, he turns away. He pushes his nose into a dangling hand to get scratches. ✅ He enjoys eating and going for walks most! ✅ Rocky is in a home with another medium-sized female dog and the get along well. ✅ Learning leash manners with a trainer because he pulls on the leash when he sees cats or other dogs. Haven’t had a chance to see what he’ll do if actually make contact. ✅ He barks and acts cautious around new people but warms up after a bit of exposure. ✅ He barks and acts cautious around new people but warms up after a bit of exposure. ✅ Ideal home: older kids, and someone home with him most of the time. ✅ In a nutshell: he’s an energetic pup who loves being pet and taking walks. He’s very obedient in the home, perfectly house broken, playful, affectionate. Rocky is available through Heart of Infinity Rescue and us is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. … and most importantly: ready for his forever family / home! Story
Meet Venus, a spirited and affectionate two-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix weighing 48 pounds. This lively girl is full of energy and eager to share her zest for life with an active family. Whether it's running, jumping, or playing tug, her absolute favorite game, Venus is always ready for action! She thrives on physical activity and would do best in a home with a secure yard where she can stretch her legs and burn off energy. If you have a friendly dog who enjoys a rousing play session, Venus could be a good companion for your pup. We would do a meet and greet to check for compatibility. Venus is not only playful but also incredibly smart. She’s both toy- and treat-motivated, making her an excellent candidate for training. A harness is recommended for walks, as she’s still learning that strolls aren’t races! Venus’s adoption fee of $250 covers essential services such as spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Please don't hesitate to schedule an appointment to meet Venus by calling 602-971-1334. You can also visit us Thursday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm when we are open for walk-ins. Venus is ready to bring joy and adventure to her forever home. Could that be yours?

Story
Double the love, double the joy! Pixie and Maple are a wonderful bonded pair looking for a new beginning together. Pixie is a six-year-old, 50-pound American Pit Bull Terrier mix, and Maple is a four-year-old, 81-pound APBT mix. These two best friends share a deep bond and bring out the best in each other. Pixie originally came to Home Fur Good in 2020 and was adopted into a loving home. Unfortunately, when her family’s circumstances changed, a new child with severe allergies, they heartbreakingly had to return her. Because Pixie and Maple were inseparable, we welcomed them both back. Their previous family described them as “the best dogs they ever had,” and it’s easy to see why! Pixie and Maple are affectionate, loyal, and playful. They love spending time together in the yards and are always ready for companionship and playtime. Both dogs are said to be great with kids, cats, and other dogs. They’re a perfect fit for a family that enjoys having a multidog household. Both girls have had some training and walk nicely on a leash. Pixie and Maple’s $400 adoption fee for the bonded pair includes their spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchips, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. To meet this dynamic duo, call 602-971-1334 or stop by Thursday–Saturday, 11 a.m.–4 p.m. They’re waiting to fill your home with love and fun!
