Story
Meet Rose! This sweet girl is very special and ready for her forever home! Mealtime is her favorite time. She does a cute “hoppy” happy dance🤣 when it’s time to eat. She sits like a champ and does “shake” before she eats. Rose takes a big morning nap after breakfast. She loves healthy treats like apples, carrots, cucumbers, broccoli and banana chips, and takes them gently. Such a sweet, little lady.🥰 Rose gets very excited when it’s time for a walk. She’s a dream on leash, and all business when it comes to walking. And when her foster dog siblings treat it more like a “sniffari “, she patiently waits for them to catch up. Rose can be very playful, but it comes in spurts and then she’s ready to rest. She gets good reports when she goes to daycare. She always sleeps through the night and has never had an accident in the house. Most of all, Rose loves just hanging out with her people. She is good with other dogs and people. She is a very precious soul. She’s a shy girl but warms up quickly to people, especially if they give her treats, ha! She just needs a minute to know she’s safe. Rose will make some lucky person or family a wonderful, loving companion that will be a joy to have in their life❤️ Click on the arrow button to see her video clip.

Story
Meet Big Boy! Big Boy lives up to his name at a solid 75 pounds of pure love (He’s working on shedding a few pounds, but that’s a slow process, just like his walks). Big Boy hasn’t had the easiest life. He first came into the shelter in 2018, and again, most recently in 2025, where he landed on the e-list due to his medical concerns. Thankfully, the Desert Dog Project has been sponsoring his medical care to get him back in tip-top shape so he can find his forever family once and for all. Personality     •    Loves all human attention- especially cuddles and belly rubs     •    Can be slightly stubborn- he knows what he wants and likes to “talk” to make sure you are on the same page     •    Expert level at snoring and farting (lives up to his old man persona)     •    Total couch potato, but working on his fitness     •    Enjoys soft toys (particularly lambies of course)     •    Crated trained- he loves his crate! Ideal Family     •    Big Boy’s perfect family is home often and has patience for working through some separation anxiety (an apartment wouldn’t be the best fit for him).     •    He’d do best in a home without other dogs or with a calm, similar energy dog who likes their own space.     •    He can be a bit lazy and needs a family who will encourage him to take some quick walks to stretch his legs throughout the day. Medical Info     •    Ongoing, he’ll need arthritis support and some joint supplements to help keep him moving comfortably. If you’re ready for a big sweetheart who loves to lounge, give the best snuggles, and maybe throw in a few funny fart jokes along the way, Big Boy is your guy. Please apply to meet him if you can keep him comfy, active (but not too active), and loved forever.

Story
Sebastian is a seven-year-old, Boxer mix that is sweet and soulful, more senior dog looking for a home where he can enjoy the good life. This boy found himself on the county’s euthanasia list due to having issues with his rear limb, which is due to Valley Fever and the bony lesions it caused. Thankfully, Valley Fever is a totally treatable, non-contagious disease that is very manageable. Once we started treating Sebastian for his Valley Fever, he became a totally different dog—his mobility and comfort have both increased tremendously. Sebastian’s ideal home would be calmer and quieter, as he doesn’t need too much activity—walks are still great for maintaining muscle and movement!—and just enjoys being near his people, both children and adults. This sweet boy is dog selective, so any doggy siblings would need proper introductions to ensure a successful match. Sebastian’s adoption fee includes his completed veterinary exams, vaccines, neuter and microchip. Apply here: https://lovethemallrescue.org/adopt

Story
At just 2 years old, Saint has already lived through more than most dogs ever should — yet her spirit remains bright, loving, and full of life. This sweet girl was found abandoned in the pouring rain on deaths door in desperate need of medical attention-- yes, it felt like we were living in a Sarah McLauchlin infomercial. Thankfully, Sky Sanctuary was able to step in for Saint and get her to Veterinary Emergency Group where she spent weeks recovering. Her spirit is strong and she continues to amaze us by her resilience in her battle with Valley Fever. Saint is one of the most remarkable dogs we've met. She’ll need a family who’s gentle and mindful of her medical needs. The good news is: she’s improving every day to the point that she was able to attend board and train with our training partner at Sofu’s Dog Training, where she’s thriving and learning so much. Despite everything she’s endured, Saint is a bundle of joy — playful, affectionate, eager to love + learn. She’s truly a light in every room she enters. Saint will need an adopter who is committed to staying on top of her Valley Fever treatment and understands the importance of monitoring her condition. Sky Sanctuary will continue to cover the costs of Saint's valley fever checkups + treatment for a year after adoption. It’s very manageable with regular care, and she’s absolutely worth the extra attention. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a dog who will love you with everything she has, please submit an adoption application at skysanctuaryrescue.org/applications. Once we receive your application, we’ll happily answer your questions and arrange a meet and greet with our lovable girl, Saint.

Story
Looking for a loyal companion who brings the perfect blend of playfulness and gentle affection? Meet Coop, a 3-year-old boxer/pit mix with a heart as big as his smile! Coop is the definition of a family dog, absolutely amazing with children of all ages. His gentle nature, sweet disposition, and affectionate personality make him the perfect playmate and protector for your little ones. This handsome boy comes with some impressive life skills! He's fully potty-trained, knows how to use a dog door, handles car rides well and has learned basic obedience commands. Even better, he's comfortable being left alone when you need to run errands. With moderate energy levels, Coop strikes the perfect balance between playful companion and relaxed housemate. His favorite activity? A good game of fetch in the sunshine! He loves outdoor adventures but is equally content simply being part of your daily routine.
