Story
Kia is a 13 year old female pitbull looking for a home to spend her golden months. She unfortunately has cancer, which, combined with her old age, means her time is probably limited. She is very low maintenance: she’s happy with short walks, soft beds and yummy treats. She loves cuddles. She just wants a calm home to enjoy the time she has left, however long that is. She will be a fospice so well will pay for any necessary medical care.

To apply or learn more about Buddy, go to: https://www.heartsforpawsrescue.com/219873/buddy-fozzy Buddy (Formerly known as Fozzy) was adopted through HFP 3 years ago, but now in need of a new home. He is an easy going guy who would do wonderful in a quiet suburban neighborhood. He loves naps and spends much of the day sleeping on the couch. While Buddy did well meeting dogs 3 years ago while in our program, he has been reactive towards dogs since being adopted and should be an only dog in the home. He is very happy without dogs and will live a very happy life with humans but does not need to interact with dogs. Buddy is very sweet to all people. He would do well in a home with kids 10+ . Housetrained, no separation anxiety, moderate energy and well behaved! Adoption Donation Sponsored by HFP. You might be wondering what “sponsored” means. A dog is sponsored when their foster or a donor loves them so much that they cover the adoption donation for a future adopter. This in hopes that the pup finds his or her forever family ASAP!

Story
Mister Biggs is the most loyal, loving, and snuggly boy ever. He is great for someone who jogs. I will miss him so much. He was a foster returned by 2 people because he was a lot of energy and too little training. So I did the leash training, treat training, and working with the big Mister to make sure he was housebroken and less reactive. He is an absolute love, with bone and ball affinity, crate and housetrained. He LOVES people. He is good with most other animals AS LONG AS he is introduced in a controlled and methodical manner. He must be pack-walked before able to openly interact with other dogs above 15 lbs. He must be lovingly introduced to cats but easily understands they are his housemates and siblings. Biggs also has digestive and skin sensitivities. He takes 8-16mg of prescription Apoquel daily as needed, and I add Zyrtec 10mg when he is more itchy. He eats ONLY prescription kibble and treats, Science diet Derm Complete. I learned this the hard way. Call/msg for more info.

Story
I adopted Pesto from my local shelter about 4.5 years ago when she was 6 months old. She has always been really sweet with all humans but intense with other dogs. She's been to group training classes & is overall a pleasant dog to be around. I adopted another dog almost 4 years ago & they've always gotten along well, but had a few fights over the years that seemed circumstantial until the latest one (at the house with me present). She has been increasingly anxious & hostile, which was excusable knowing that my spouse & I got divorced recently, she lived with my parents for 7 months during that time, & I had to start working side jobs so I'm away from the house much more than her first few years with me. She is super athletic and has escaped the backyard many times, so the fence has been upgrades to keep her contained. Never had any issues during the escapes, but the last time she did she bit & shook around my neighbors dog unprovoked. I am unable to pay for daily medication or training

Story
We’re helping rehome our friend’s dog, Nala. She used to live in a loving home near Travis AFB, CA, but her owner recently moved to Aviano AFB, Italy. We’ve been caring for her since June, and she’s been an absolute sweetheart. Unfortunately, we were just approved to move on base, and the breed restrictions mean we can’t bring her with us. Nala is an 8-year-old Pitbull; calm, gentle, and affectionate. She’s up to date on her shots (last done in April), loves cuddles, gets along well with other dogs and cats, and is wonderfully quiet. Because she’s older, we’d love for her to go to a comfortable, loving home where she can relax and be part of the family. There is NO rehoming fee. She’ll come with everything we’ve been using for her: a kennel, leash, food and water bowls, her bed, and her food container. If you’re interested or have any questions, message me. Thank you!
