He's been professionally trained at a boarding facility but doesn't have a home to return to. He is desperate need of a foster of forever home, and a handler who can provide structure and discipline to continue his journey as a model canine. Cesar has been through so much. His mom was evicted and he was separated from his brother. He's been in and out of homes and was on the euthanasia list at the local shelter before he was rescued by a good samaritan who raised enough money to enroll him at a training boarding facility. All the volunteers have fallen in love with him. What his trainer wrote: Cesar is an excited happy guy who thrives off structure. He’s amazing on leash. He’s also crate trained and is great around food. Even though he gets excited easily, he doesn’t have a ton of energy and would prefer not to do anything too strenuous. ? He would be an amazing only dog but could also live with another dog if he’s given time to adapt. Sunny was found hiding in a bush in point Richmond. She was frightened at first but quickly warmed up once rescued and is now extremely gentle and affectionate. She is a little timid with new people sometimes but she warms up fast. She is very smart and intuitive and has calm energy when left alone. Sunshine is still young, 7/8 months or so, so she definitely still has some puppy energy but she socializes well with other dogs of all sizes. She will bond well with her person and is incredibly sweet and snuggly. She is house trained and has done very well in an apartment but I’m sure she would love a yard to run in. Truly an amazing dog. The foster is a veterinarian and will make sure she is spayed and immunized for her future home!

I'm fostering a bully named Khufu. The original owner lived in the studio nextdoor to me. He got 30 days and moved out. On the last day he asked me to care for his dog while he tried to find a place that would take the pup. That's been a few months ago. He was supposed to pay for food and come visit Khufu but he's done neither. I contacted him about relinquishing ownership so I coukd find Khufu a family of his own and he's agreed that would be best.I'm a dog walker and have taken Khufu out with a pack of dogs and he's done great. He's also good with my Doberman. Khufu is about 3 or 4 years old.Khufu sits on command and knows the "wait" command. I've been able to stop him from jumping on me and others. He loves to play with stuffed toys and will toss it up in the air and chase it when it lands. He loves to play with squeaky balls. Khufu just wants to crawl up on a couch and snuggle with someone. He's such a sweet boy and deserves a family of his own.

When overwhelmed, he tends to freeze in response to stress and is still building confidence with leash walking, though he's shown some nice progress during his foster stay. Blanket is looking for patient, experienced adopters familiar with fearful or shy dogs who can give him plenty of time and space to decompress and settle in at his own pace.
