Story
Introducing our fun loving 2 year old Pitty, Flaco! This handsome, high-energy boy is full of life and would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can run, zoom, and play to his hearts content. Flaco adores people of all ages, though he can be a bit of a goofball he does not always realize how big he is, so supervision around small children is recommended. He is always up for playtime and loves all kinds of toys except rope toys those are a no go for him. On hot days, you will often find Flaco splashing around and cooling off in a kiddie pool. He is a creature of habit, too in his previous home, he enjoyed Friday bath days as part of his weekly routine. Flaco can make dog friends with proper introductions, but he does have a strong prey drive and prefers to chase cats, so a feline free home would be best. This smart boy knows several commands in Spanish including sit, stay, wait, no, yes, and out and he had great potty habits in his last home. If you are looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate companion to join your adventures, Flaco is your guy! For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter at 863 324 5227 to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 10:30 to 6 Tuesday through Friday, Saturday from 10:30 to 4 closed 1 to 2 for lunch and the last Friday of every month.

EXERCISE NEEDS: Daily Workout EASE OF TRAINING: Willing FRIENDLINESS WITH PEOPLE: Outgoing PLAYFULNESS: Amateur FRIENDLINESS WITH DOGS: Tolerant LEASH MANNERS: Pulls Often Meet Sarabel: A Tiny Dynamo with a Big Heart! Age: 2 years Breed: Pit Bull Mix Size: Small but Mighty Sarabel is a bundle of joy wrapped in fur, with a heart as big as her smile! Despite having IVDD (a condition where the discs between the vertebrae can degenerate or rupture, putting pressure on the spinal cord), which gives her a unique little walk, she never lets it slow her down. She’s still full of playful energy, always ready for an adventure (especially if treats are involved—she’s VERY food motivated!). When she’s not bouncing around with her signature wiggle, Sarabel is the ultimate cuddlebug. She loves snuggling up close, soaking in all the love and warmth she can get. Her big, beaming smile is contagious, and her happy spirit reminds everyone that life is all about enjoying the little things—like belly rubs and snack time! Sarabel may move a little differently, but in her eyes, she’s just like any other playful pup. And honestly? She wouldn’t have it any other way! New families will need to be aware that Sarbel should keep her current figure - she will need to maintain weight as excess body mass can put strain on her back. While she is food motivated and loves treats, selecting healthy, low-fat snacks like carrots, apples, and pumpkin puree would be best for her!

Story
Lil Girl was found walking down the highway near my dog daycare aprox. a year ago. We have exhausted all efforts to find her owner. She's a very sweet dog that deserves a good home. Although she loves to be inside, we think that she was previously an outside dog due to the fact that she still has occasional accidents inside when left alone. She's loves other dogs, cats and kids. She has a calm personality. She's great in public and walks great on a leash. I think she's about 3-4 years old and was bred young. She is UTD on vaccines and is spayed.

She understands some hand signals and needs a patient, loving person who’s willing to communicate with her that way. In the right home, she’ll be incredibly happy. She’s gentle, affectionate, and just needs a chance with someone who understands her. If you or someone you know could open their heart and home to her. Name: Zora
 Breed: American Bully

Story
Scully was dropped off at our vet hospital at a week and a half old. My partner and I fostered her with hopes of adding her to our current fur family. Scully has shown some resource guarding behaviors with certain toys, and after long discussions, my partner and I thought it best to find Scully a forever home where she will be happier. She is 1 year and 4 months old. She loves to play fetch with her soccer ball and is a BIG cuddler! She is also a big fan of hikes and car rides. She gets very excited when she knows she is coming to work with me. We are hoping to find a loving home for Scully to thrive in.
