Story
This is Jester he needs lots of room to run and unfortunately he does not get that where he currently lives he currently lives in an apartment. He’s a good dog. He just has a lot of energy and not a lot of room to get it out. He does require some work. The other reason for rehoming is he has so much energy that he needs room to run. I am willing to give his kennel, food, water, dish and toys with his rehoming. However, if you just wish for jester and then he is free as long as he goes to a good home.

Story
I am a long-term dog resident here at the Champaign County Humane Society! What does that mean? It means I have been available for adoption for over 90 days and am more than ready to find my forever home! In fact, the shelter is waiving my adoption fee for any approved applicant. Please stop by the shelter during open hours to visit with me! Shadow is a handsome ~7-and-a-half-year-old American pitbull terrier mix who is available for adoption at CCHS! He was relinquished to the shelter because his owner had to relocate and was unable to bring him along. Shadow is a friendly boy but can take some time to warm up to new people and surroundings. He has made great progress since arriving at our shelter and is well-loved by the staff and volunteers who have had the opportunity to work with him. Due to Shadow's shy nature, he is required to go to a home as the only pet and with no children under the age of 15. We are certain he can provide his future owners with all the love and affection they could possibly desire. If Shadow sounds like the dog for you and you are ready to spoil a wonderful and deserving dog, please stop by CCHS to meet with him. Shadow is a STAFF FAVORITE pet! Here's what adoption staff member, Brandi has to say about him: Shadow is a very sweet guy who just wants a human companion to spend his days with. Shadow is very gentle and easy going, and loves to explore his surroundings while on a leisurely stroll with you. Mostly, he would love to snuggle up to you on the couch with his favorite chew toy while being showered with affection.

In fact, the staff here at the shelter are waiving my adoption fee for any approved applicant. Please stop by the shelter during open hours to visit with me! Sett is a 1 year old Pit Bull Terrier Mix available for adoption at CCHS. He came to us from his previous home due to him not doing well with the other animals in the home, so for this reason, he must go to a home where he is the only pet! Sett is a fairly high energy kind of guy and would benefit from a human companion committed to helping him spend his energy properly. While not required, Sett would benefit from training classes in his new home to further strengthen his basic manners skills. Sett would love nothing more than to play, explore, and play some more! If you feel Sett could be the perfect fit for you, stop in and meet with him! Sett is a STAFF FAVORITE pet! Here's what animal care staff member, Roe has to say about him: If there was a shelter award for most improved, Sett would definitely be high up in the running! He's come so far since he's been with us, and I'm super proud of him!! We've worked very hard together to build his confidence and set him up for success. It's really impressive how quickly he picks up commands, and it's easy to see how wickedly smart he is. He's a quite shy little guy but a massive sweetheart when he gets to know you and would love the opportunity to show his personality. Sett is incredibly loving and loyal and will lean his whole body into you to ask for attention. Seeing him is really the best part of my day, and that's saying a lot because I love every single animal at the shelter. Sett's always been able to make me laugh and cheer me up on rough days. I love his big brown eyes and floppy ears and cute little tail nub, I love cuddling with him, I love running around and playing games in the pens together, I love HIM.

In fact, the staff here at the shelter are waiving my adoption fee for any approved applicant. Please stop by the shelter during open hours to visit with me! Fiona is an almost-5-year-old lady available for adoption at CCHS. Fiona is an American Pit Bull Terrier who is at CCHS for the second time, as her previous owners are moving and were not able to take Fiona with them. Fiona is a very loving girl who is waiting at CCHS to find her new home and person/people! Fiona loves kids and car rides. She has been a bit nervous around the other dogs in the shelter, and we feel she would be her best in a home where she was the only dog. Fiona bears a bit of a resemblance to famous hippopotamus of the same name at the Cincinnati zoo. She has a round middle, adorable ears, and a lovely grey coat. Fiona would love to stay on her special Purina diet for sensitive skin to help with her allergies. If you'd love to give a great gal a great home, come meet with and apply for Fiona (the dog, not the hippo) at CCHS!

In fact, the staff here at the shelter are waiving my adoption fee for any approved applicant. Please stop by the shelter during open hours to visit with me! Raven is a beautiful girl that had a rough start in life but is ready for her forever home. She had spent the first year of her life mainly confined in a kennel and her second owner adopted her to give her a better life. Raven has a high energy level and due to this she was a bit more than what the owner was ready for. Raven needs a home where she can learn basic manners and the proper way to burn off that energy. She has shown that she is reactive to other dogs so she must be adopted to a home with no other dogs. This girl loves attention and to cuddle. If you feel you can give her the home that this sweetheart deserves please stop by the shelter to meet her.
