Story
Moodonna is really enjoying her time in her foster home, but this sweet girl is ready to be adopted!Moo's foster mom says: "Her favorite things to do are to creep on the neighbors, watch the neighborhood critters, or pass out on the hot concrete. As far as the outdoors goes, we have her on a tether whether she is in the front or back yard. I'm a helicopter pup parent so I'm always out with her. She very quickly learned that when I say "careful" she is close to the end of her tether so she can slow down.Moo gets so excited she jumps on people impulsively still, but listens as soon as you say "off". She gets the zoomies often some days, especially when she is seeing the boys or my partner after they've been gone/busy for a few days. When she is inside, no potty accidents, no getting into things she isn't supposed to. After slowly testing her, we now are more than comfortable with leaving her to roam the house freely when we are out. Moo prefers the days where I work from home or my partner is working on the truck outside. You guys must have done some amazing work with this girl! Thank you!Moodonna is 5-years-old and weighs 48 lbs!Adoption Fee: $200Estimated Date of Birth: 12/1/18Intake Reason: Transferred in from animal control with mom and littermatesAnimal will be spayed and up to date on vaccines, and microchipped prior to adoption. Story
Bailey has come a long way in our care. she does great with other dogs and cats, has been around horses and has started to go on field trips out with her handler with no reactions to strangers. Bailey if a fun gal she loves belly rubs, a came of fetch is good as long as you don't expect her to bring it back more that twice. She loves to make her rounds through the office and say hello to all her friends. When Bailey arrived at TAPS she was emaciated and very fearful. She has over come so much and has come out of her shell. Bailey still does not trust most people to but a collar on her, however a slip leash is not a problem. Leash Manners: nice she knows to sit when walker stops will heel Basic Commands: sit, down, heal, drop, stay, recall. Rides great in the car and waits if you go in some place. Cat introduction in a controlled environment: no reaction she is friendly toward them in controlled environment has been around them in open areas as well. Good with dogs? Eligible for dog intros she has been in several play groups with several dogs Special Notes : sensitive around neck ( nervous about someone she does not trust putting a collar and leash on. Is fine with a slip leash. Story
OMG Blanch!!! Can I just say this itty bitty 38 lb pitty is dream. She is happy and loving, seems to like other dogs, walks well on a leash and is full of energy, but not too much energy. I can not say enough about this dogs temperament. Blanch has a story that breaks my heart, yet she doesn't seem to hold any baggage from the neglect this girl suffered though no fault of her own. She is just happy to have clean surroundings, fresh food , water, and people to love her. We have her listed as 7 she acts younger and we are not positive of her age. She is heartworm positive and will be going though treatment and ready for a forever home soon. Please consider giving this gal the home she so disserves. Leash Manners: nice does not pull Basic Commands: sit, bow Cat introduction in a controlled environment: interested I think she would chase to play Good with dogs? Story
Baby is a recent transfer from a local animal control. We do not know anything about her back ground, but it appears she has not had an easy road. She is an estimated 4-5 yrs old, we can tell she has had puppies likely several times, and has a few broken teeth. Baby is a little timid of her new surroundings, and looks at us with her worries eyes to make sure everything is all right. She is sweet and loves attention. We told her she hit the Jackpot and her future will be bright form now on. . Baby Walks well on a leash, is none reactive to both dogs and cats, and would love a patient home who will let her adjust to her new improved life. Leash Manners: good Basic Commands: sit Cat introduction in a controlled environment: no reaction Good with dogs?
