Story
Athos is an almost 2 year old Pit Bull/German Shepherd mix that was returned when his family decided to move and not take him along....so truly through no fault of his own. They only have great things to say about him...good with dogs, cats, kids, is potty trained (though anyone should be prepared for transitional accidents) and housebroken. He is a 2 year old Pit Bull/German Shepherd mix so his family should be prepared to provide lots of exercise and interactive play!

Story
Sprocket is one big and handsome boy. He is very energetic and will need exercise outlets but he does have a good foundation of manners for a new family to build on. He is reported to be potty trained, but transitional accidents should always be expected, he rides well in the car and has successfully lived with children and is reported to do well with them. He was adopted to a home with two dogs and went to daycare but eventually had to be returned because he and another dog in the home could not seem to get along so we believe him to be dog selective. Overall, he is a happy, healthy and well mannered dog that is large in stature weighing in at 90 pounds.

Story
Check out little diva Meadow! Isn't she stunning? Meadow is a 1 year old Pitbull mix. She is full of energy, but is treat motivated. She was transferred from a local animal control. She is said to be dog, cat, and kid friendly. She will need help with potty training entering a new home. She can be mouthy and puppy nip when excited so adopters should be ready to work with that. She has been in play groups and done very well.

Story
Moodonna thrives on positive attention and praise from friends she already knows. For those she doesn't know, she can easily be bought with a breakfast muffin from the local fast food joint. Moodonna is very nervous around new people and will need a home that does not have a great deal of visitors coming and going from the house. She also will not be a dog that you can take out and about in public with you until you build her confidence which will take a great deal of time (months not days or weeks). Moodonna likes to chase toys but she doesn't like to play fetch or return any toy so her new owner will have to work on the return component of Fetch. She is a very sweet and loving girl once you earn her trust but any adopter will have to be very protective of her space as she meets new friends.

Story
Plinky is an ultra sweet senior girl that is significantly hearing impaired, if not completely deaf. Plinky does great with humans and interacts well with dogs as long as no toys or food is around so for this reason, Plinky must be the only dog. She is reported to be potty, trained and rides well in the car. Plinky is very sweet, she loves to relax, and she walks well on a leash. She isn't super interested in play, and would be great for a family who is looking for a calm companion.

Story
Meet Valentino: Tino is an Olde English Bulldog, weighing in at 72lbs!! He will be 3 years old this coming February. Tino is 100% potty trained, knows many commands and tricks, he absolutely loves car rides and playing all the time! Yes he does cuddle in there too.  One thing about Tino is he is HIGHLY ALLERGIC to chicken….legit absolutely no chicken unless you want a vet trip. He loves cats! Dogs so far he has done great with! He previously lived with 3 other dogs where we believe size difference was a small concern but has had no issues or concerns in his foster home. He really is the sweetest boy ever! Tino would also have no problem at all being an only dog, as long as he had toys and treats! A fenced yard would be best because of his energy but is not a requirement. Tino recently had a TPLO surgery, Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy is a surgical treatment used to stabilize the stifle joint when the Cranial Cruciate Ligament (CrCL) has ruptured. The CrCL is similar to the ACL in a human knee, but unlike in humans, the CrCL rarely ruptures from sudden trauma in an otherwise healthy ligament. Tino had a great surgery and he’s been recovering great, plus using his back leg again! Tino's $500 adoption fee includes his neuter, TPLO surgery, vaccines, heartworm prevention, flea/tick prevention, and microchip registration. Story
Hey all- My name is Rose, I am an English Bulldog and I can’t wait to meet you and cuddle!!! Don’t be scared of the tongue or how big I look in my pics. I’m actually on the small side for an English Bully (35-40 lbs) and I am just a little wiggly ball of LOVE ! I love all hoomans but most of all I love to cuddle!!! I’m not fully housebroken yet and these treat things really confuse me but it’s okay because I get along with everyone as long as they don’t get between me and my cuddles! I don’t acknowledge foster Mama’s cats so if you have any, they don’t bother me. Neither do dogs unless they get between me and the senior cuddle dispenser. Hmmm- could that be you? Fill out an application and let’s find out! Her $500 adoption fee covers her spay, fold reduction, vaccines, heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, deworming medication, and microchip registration. Story
Meet Zane! This 2 year old boxer mix had a severe fracture of his front leg, so it had to be amputated. It doesn't stop him though. He can jump on beds and navigate at least some stairs (the foster doesn't have a lot of stairs, so we don't know how he would do in a two story house). He's very good with larger calm dogs, but will correct annoying puppies. Good with cats and kids, but can be protective of kids if strangers come by. He does adjust to new people fairly soon.  He is house trained and crate trained. He should be kept at a healthy weight because of his leg, and his joints should be monitored for arthritis.  The $225 adoption fee covers his neuter, vaccines, heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, deworming medication, and microchip registration.
