Story
Frisco is a sweet and energetic goofball! He is full of kisses and wants nothing more than to roll around and play! His most favorite thing is the world are ball toys! He is a super chewer, and can't enough of chasing a ball around the yard. He is about a year and half old and we believe he was once potty trained in his former home. Frisco does not like cats, but we are told he does ok with other dogs. A meet a greet with potential dog siblings is required just to make sure. He does seem to like female dogs more so than male dogs. Given his big head, muscles, and propensity to throw his weight around all willy nilly, we suggest that if you have children in your life that they be older kids (7+) that don't mind getting knocked down every now and again as he plays. A little consistency and daily play time will go a long way with this sweet boy. He loves everyone, but he seems to be especially fond of men. He LOVES car rides! He would make a great travel companion. If intereseted in meeting Frisco please fill out our adoption application that can be found on our website at effinghamcountyhumanesociety.orgHis adoption fee is $200 and this includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip, monthly flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention.

Story
Did you get my good side? 👑 Meet Meesha. This petite girl is looking for her furever home. Weighing in at 32 pounds this girl is the perfect size! Don’t get us started on those ears 😍 Meesha is a sweet little lady that hasn’t met a stranger. She has done okay with the cats in the office, but a meet and greet would be required with potential dog siblings. We believe she would be fine with children. Meesha will come up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and heartworm tested.

Story
We got Oliver from a private seller when he was a new puppy, he is just over one year old now. We are looking to rehome him because he needs a more active household then we can give. He is very energetic and loves daily walks, plays well by himself or with others. Doesnt quite understand the concept of bringing the ball back with fetch. He does well with kids and loves snuggling. He is house trained and kennel trained. He understands the commands come, sit, lay, and stay. He is also good with other dogs, and is friendly and playful. However he is vocal to strangers. Hes is very attention seeking, which is something we cannot provide with such young children. To be honest when left alone for extended periods of time, he does need kenneled because he chews when bored. We will leave dogwood etc for chewing, but it doesnt always distract as desired. He usually sleeps out at night, but also does well sleeping in the kennel.
