Millie aka Potato aka Loaf aka Butterball is the most wonderful girl. She walks perfect on and off leash, does not mess in her kennel and does not show any interest in cats. She doesn’t beg food from kids and she gets along well with calm dogs. Millie was reported to have been thrown from a car and left on the side of the road and we just can’t figure out why. Millie desperately needs a diet and some walks. Come down to Macoupin County Animal control and give her a few squeezes and possibly take her home. Our hours are Weekdays 10-2, closed Tuesday, and Saturday 8-12

Hope Rescues is all volunteer, all visits must be scheduled you may do that by filling out an online application as that is needed for a visit. You can find an application our website. Our adoption fee is $275.00 which includes Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, current heart worm test, DHPP booster, Bordetella vaccine, Microchip, Worming.Jax is barely a year old and very friendly with people but not so much with other dogs. He is a submissive male so no dominance in him at all. He loves kids, loves to snuggle and play tug of war. He likes to joke around and stick his tongue out at you sometimes as you can see in his picture here..lolPlease help us make room to save more homeless pets!!! Adopting from Hope Rescues saves the life of two.. the one you adopt and the one your adoption makes room for. We are a Rescue which means we physically go and save lives. Hope pulls animals on their last day of life from animal control facilities that still use the inhumane gas chamber to put to death homeless pets.
