Meet Jenga, a 2-year-old pittie mix who came to the shelter as a stray and is now ready for a fresh start in a patient, loving home. Jenga is very shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe and is given the space to come forward on her own, she forms strong bonds and shows her truly wonderful personality.With people she trusts, Jenga is playful, affectionate, and delightfully silly. She loves playing with toys, is very treat-motivated, and enjoys getting out for walks. Jenga has spent time in the office with staff and does best in calm environments where she can build confidence at her own pace.Jenga has not made dog friends at the shelter and tends to move away from other dogs, so she would likely prefer to be the only pet. Meet Frito, a sweet, loving and sensitive pittie who is looking for a fresh start. Frito can be shy at first and will bark at new people but with time (and some of her favorite treats) she warms up. This girl is a certified cuddle bug—she loves curling up on the couch, rolling around, and making sure she gets all the pets she's craving. Honey is young, energetic, and playful, and she’d love an active home that can keep up with her fun-loving spirit. She’s lived successfully with a cat and with teenagers, showing that she can fit right in with a variety of family dynamics. Honey has also had positive experiences with other dogs in the past, but she will need a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs to make sure everyone is a good match.
