Story
Resilient, loyal, and gorgeous - it's triple threat Trinity here! And I am ready to impress you with my heart-of-gold spunk! Let's start with my ideal digs – none of that noisy, rambunctious stuff for me. I'm all about that laid-back adult-only vibe, free from the hustle and bustle. Let's just bask in some peace and tranquility; I relish in some cozy cuddles but feel free to do your own thing. I'm perfectly content entertaining myself with my toys or a quick snooze. When it comes to strangers, I don't exactly roll out the welcome mat. It takes time for me to warm up and trust new friends, but once I do, it's a friendship for life! To join my pack is the real deal. Just know that we will stick together through thick and thin, creating all the best memories and sharing snuggles like there's no tomorrow! As happy as I am to indulge in an afternoon laze, there's nothing quite like getting my heart pumping and feeling the wind in my fur! Ever seen a powerhouse like me tear through a room, giddy with the zoomies? It's a sight to behold, let me tell you! And adventures? Count me in! Whether it's a rugged hike or a road trip for a pup cup, I'm game for it! Wait, did someone say treats? I've got a bit of a weakness when it comes to food. Show me a tasty snack, and I'll show you what a pup with determination and a hunger that just won't quit! And hey, who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? I'm living proof that you can teach this ol' girl a thing or two! Well, what do you say? Ready to join the pack of a tough, yet totally silly, and downright lovable pup like me? Check out the MAS website below to fill out your adoption application and let's get this VIP party started! DOB 2/26/17 For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas. Story
Meet Iron Man I am "Iron Man"!! Are you ready? I have big energy and I'm looking for an active family that can keep up with me! I'm a good boy, but sometimes I forget that I am 80lbs of dog. For this reason, I would probably be best in a home without kids. I would be best in a home that has experience training a large size dog. I walk with a gentle leader that has greatly improved my walking manners (it helps me remember that its not polite to pull my person around). I would benefit with continued training to help me use my energy in a positive way. I like to practice my cool tricks too, I know "sit", "shake", "down" and "speak". I would be best in a home without four legged siblings. In my opinion, I am the full package and have all the love and laughs you could ever need! If you are ready to get-up-and-go with me, put your application in today! D.O.B. 1/13/18 MYM Canine-ality color is: Green-Go Getter!! For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas. Please fill out our online adoption application and survey at www.mackenzies.info/adopt/adoption-survey-application/

Story
Is there anything better than coming home to a big ol' 70lb goofy dog? I don't think so, my name is Gilbert and I am what they call a derp dog. As you can see from my pictures, not only am I a floppy boy, I am also photogenically handsome. What's not to love?! In all seriousness, I have been looking for the perfect forever family for a long time, but as they say, all good things come to those who wait. While I've been waiting for my forever home, MAS has been helping me practice training and manners. I love the treats, so it has been a blast! Who doesn't love treats though, lets be honest here; matter-in-fact, I fully support the midnight snack trips we will take together. We can walk it off in the morning anyways....and then snuggle on the couch to watch TV and take a cozy nap; its a win/win....win! I know what you're thinking: "Gilbert is perfect, he can't get any better" and that is where you would be wrong my friend. You are looking at a genuine party animal right here! A serious happy-go-lucky guy, sure to make every day an adventure together. I love playing outside, swimming in the MAS pond, playing with my human and canine friends, and going for car rides. Though I try, nobody is perfect. I guess perfect is a fantasy, but I am constantly learning and doing my best to be a better dog than I was yesterday; and to me (and I hope you too) that is perfect. I would do best in a home with older children and adults. Though I have come leaps and bounds (as far as training and progression goes), and I really am trying to be the best dog I can be....but I draw the line with cats. If you are looking for a happy and handsomely dopey face to greet you at your door, submit your application on the MAS website below! Story
50% gentleman, 50% derp-dog and 100% inquisitive...they say curiosity killed the cat, but what did it do to the dog? Lets find out together! Spending time with people is by far the greatest thing in the world to me! I live for booty scratches and am so excited to snuggle up on the couch. Sometimes I get a little too excited and end up falling off the couch...Don't worry, I am a hefty dude and wont hurt myself in my buffoonery. Some of my additional antics include chasing my shadow, playing with my food bowls by pushing them around, doing acrobatic somersaults for belly rubs, and snuffling around into tight corners. You also may have noticed I have some pretty unique eyes. When I was rescued, I had what is called entropion (a condition in which my eyelids rolled inward against my eyeball) that was surgically repaired and cured. This is something that should not cause me any future issues now that it has been corrected. I am such a happy goofy guy - guaranteed to keep you laughing even on the most stressful days! But once I get all my "giddy's" out, I am a complete gentleman and love to just laze about soaking up your company. It truly goes to speak of my resilience, because before I came to MAS, I was in a home that was not good to me...and they threw me out like I was garbage. You know what though, I know better. One man's trash is another man's treasure, and I am definitely a treasure to be had! If you are looking for a diamond in the rough, check out the MAS website below and submit your adoption application for a chance to meet me and bring me home! Story
Meet Lincoln Are you looking for a smart, devoted, and active playmate? How about a tall, dark, and handsome companion? Well, that's me to a T! I have the biggest smile and I love to show it off! It is almost as big as the love in my heart. I love to play and run, and I think you would be impressed with how agile and fast I am. I love long walks, preferably on a more remote scenic trail. I would be a top notch hiking buddy! I desire all your cuddles and attention to myself, so I need a home without other dogs or cats. Older kids are better equipped to handle my excitement and zest for life. I have been great with kids, but I don’t want to knock over very small ones by accident. Don’t go thinking that I am all go-go-go though. I like to settle in and hangout with my people too. I am a big time lover, spending quality time with my people is the best part of any day! I’ve gotten quite a few compliments on my good boy behavior from everyone I meet. Like I said before, I am a smart guy, learning new tricks and maybe even doing some work with agility equipment is right up my alley! If I sound like the dog for you, please fill out an application today! Story
Thor is a fitting name for this big hunk! He is strong, adventurous, and hilarious! Sometimes he can get a little excited and forget his size. His new family should be patient and consistent to help him fine tune his manners. He’s getting better but needs continued work still. He would love to go to an active home that will take him on fun adventures! He is great with kids but would be best in a home with older ones due to his size and energy level. He has made several doggy friends at MAS and would be so happy to have the opportunity to make some new friends when he goes home! (No cats though!) His name is Thor, but he is the one looking for a hero. Thor has so much love to give. There is no doubt, he is one of those dogs that leaves an unforgettable impression. If you are interested in meeting Thor, apply today! DOB - 10/13/2014 For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas.
