Story
George (approximately 67 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. This chocolatey fellow with the grey whiskers wins hearts wherever he goes. He is a super sweet senior with a youthful spirit; his grey muzzle may give him away, but his energy and joy at participating in life make him seems much younger. George enjoys a warm blanket, a good snuggle with his human friends, and FOOD. Yep, our handsome boy is as food-motivated as they come! Give him a snack and he'll follow you pretty much anywhere❤️ George did well with dog to dog introductions at his previous shelter, and he has been friendly towards the dogs that he has encountered while here with us. He's looking for a home with plenty of affection, a steady supply of tasty treats, and someone who is interested in taking him on adventures and then cuddling with him on the couch. Sound good to you? Come meet George today! If you'd like to meet George and all his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed). Story
Sally (approximately 55 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. She is eager to please, treat motivated, and a fast learner. Her foster mama reports that Sally never barks, which is quite impressive for such a young & social lady! Sally is house trained and crate trained; she has never had a potty accident inside while with her foster family. She is still a bit of a puppy and will definitely chew up a dog bed, but she does very well with a warm snuggly blanket as her comfort. Once outside, Sally will have a burst of energy because she knows it is time to run & play. Her favorite toy is a rubber stick or ball, because her very favorite game is fetch. She even knows the "drop it" command! Sally is dog friendly & submissive with other dogs; she loves a good game of chase & wrestle with her doggie pals. Sally desperately wants to be someone's loving companion, and she is so ready to bring much joy to her fur-ever home. Come meet our precious Sally today! If you'd like to meet Sally and all her friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed). Story
Piper (approximately 45 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. She was lucky enough to be raised in a Southern foster home, where she got along great with the 10 - yep, 10! - other dogs in the household. Piper is familiar with livestock, including pigs, horses, and cows, and doesn't bother them at all. This snuggly little lady listens well & takes correction easily. Piper thinks she is a lap dog and will happily climb into your lap for a cuddle and a snooze. She is crate trained, mostly house trained, and does wonderfully with children. Precious Piper is a loving & well-rounded pup who has been waiting patiently for her perfect match. She is ready to bring joy, loyalty, and LOTS of snuggles to her new home!If you'd like to meet Piper and all her friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed). Plus, this October, we will be open until 7:00 p.m. on Thursdays! Have questions? Call (603) 772-2921 ext. 110 or email info@nhspca.org today. Story
Meet Spike! We took Spike from another animal shelter in NH when they were a bit too full. We are so happy to have him. This sweet, senior gentleman is a peach. He is everything you could want, walks great on the leash, friendly, likes to hang out both inside and outside of the home and socializing is his thing. He has been on radio shows and being in different kennel environmental, like both shelters, isn't always easy. As an older gent, Spike has kidney disease. There's not much we can do for Spike at this point, but he does enjoy a special kidney protective diet, which we are happy to give to an adopter. Spike very much deserves a home for Christmas, and we are confident if someone takes a chance on an older boy, they will forever be grateful they did. Come and meet Spike, even if for a little social session. Primary Color: Tan Weight: 21 Age: 10yrs 10mths 0wks

Story
We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our application review takes about 10 days.  This adoption process will require 3 videos of (outside of your home, backyard, and inside of your home) since we are not able to conduct home checks at this time. We will be calling 2 references (Not related to you please). We will be contacting your veterinarian (We work with 1st time owners) to make sure you have vaccinated all your pets yearly, and that all have been spayed/neutered. Our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Colorado & Canada. We will book your baby as soon as adoption & transport fees have been received.  If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then go to https://www.petstablished.com/organization/920716    ##2599373##
