Blue (55lbs) is a gem of a dog with his own unique perspective on the world, and he`d love to share this change in view with you! Blue may be blind, but he’s extremely adept at experiencing the world with his other senses, especially his hearing. He’s overwhelmingly sweet and friendly with new people. He can be a very gentle finger nibbler, but it’s only another way of him getting to know you! He also has a very lovely singing voice when he`s feeling inspired. We unfortunately don’t have any information about his experiences with other animals or children in the home, but we’d love to set up a time for any resident dogs to come and get to know him, and we’ll have a conversation about setting everyone in the home up for success! Come visit our adoption center Wednesday-Sunday: 12:00-4:30 PM (Thursday: 12:00-6:30 PM)You can also reach our adoptions team:by email: adoptions@spcaonline.comby phone (during open hours): 607-257-1822 x221(Adoptions Category: Green)

Story
Welcome Oozo (58 lbs), who joins us due to unfortunate health issues for his person, who truly wanted what’s best for this gentle boy. When out on a walk, Oozo gets a little startled by new noises in his world but recovers swiftly and resumes his investigations on the go. He finds cats a little too exciting, so he’d probably do best in a feline-free environment. Since he also came in with AJ, he’d likely do well with another joyful pup, but unfortunately we don’t know how he feels about kiddos in the home. If you`d like to meet this handsome hunk and get to know him a little better, stop by the adoption center during our open hours Wednesday-Sunday 12-4:30 (Thursday 12-6:30).You can also reach our adoptions team:by email: adoptions@spcaonline.comby phone (during open hours): 607-257-1822 x221

Story
TOY BOX LITTER Featuring: Polly Pocket, Slinky & Yo-Yo Straight out of the toy box and directly into our hearts… these three precious babies are officially ready to find their forever families! The Toy Box Litter came into animal control scared, dirty, covered in fleas, and unsure of the world around them. First came Slinky and Yo-Yo, two bashful little babies trying to figure life out… and then along came Polly Pocket, found running dangerously close alongside the highway like the tiny adventurous queen she is. The moment Polly arrived, everything changed. She instantly took to her siblings, brought out their playful sides, and turned the whole crew into one big happy puppy party. Now these babies are thriving, healthy, loved, and SO incredibly adorable. Polly PocketOur blue-eyed beauty with the most white on her coat and enough energy to power an entire toy store. She is playful, outgoing, mischievous, and absolutely lives life at full speed. Polly is the first one to start the fun and the last one to stop it. She has already mastered “sit” because snacks are serious business. SlinkySlinky is our soft gray sweetheart with little white paws that look like she accidentally stepped in paint. Out of the bunch, she’s the gentlest soul and truly just wants love and cuddles. She’s sweet, affectionate, curious, and always nearby investigating what treats may magically appear next. Honestly? A girl after my own heart. Yo-YoThis stunning brindle boy has come SUCH a long way. When he first arrived, he was missing hair from being absolutely eaten up with fleas, but look at him now! Handsome, playful, goofy, and full of life. Typical happy little boy energy — always ready to wrestle, explore, or bounce into your lap for attention. All three puppies are approximately 16 weeks old and weigh around 18–20 pounds each. They are: Spayed/neutered Up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines & preventions Great with other dogs Great with children Happy, curious, playful puppies We are still working on crate training because, well… they ARE babies. But they are incredibly smart and learning more every single day with structure, consistency, and love. These babies have gone from surviving… to absolutely thriving. And now all they need are families to love them forever. If you’re looking for a playful best friend, a cuddle buddy, or a little bit of joyful chaos… the Toy Box crew is waiting for you. They will require continued puppy training for manners, crate/potty training and socialization. If you would like her to join your family fill out an adoption application.  Her $550 adoption fee covers medical care up to adoption to include vaccines, spay, microchip, foster care and transportation from Louisiana to NY.   ##2730766##
