Story
Perdita is a 4-5 month old female (likely) Pitbull terrier mix who came to us with her brother after they were both found as strays who were never claimed. She is still rather young and new to all basic training. In foster, she is working on housebreaking, crate training and basic puppy obedience. Perdita is still young, but she is doing well with other dogs, cats and dog educated children. Though she lives with felines in her foster home, she often wants to push the limits and play hard with them. As long as her forever home keeps on top of her behavior and she doesn't get away with being overwhelming, we believe she would still do well in any home. Please understand that she is still a puppy, so socialization, housebreaking and basic obedience will need to be continued in her new forever home - board members will be available for any advice as needed. To meet Perdita, please FIRST apply on our website for approval: https://www.theroadhomeanimalproject.org/companion-adoption-form-pdf.htmlPerdita's adoption fee is $350, which includes her deworming, spay at our vet (when of age), vaccines (which include DHLPPC, Lyme, Bordetella & Rabies) and microchip with lifetime registration. If you are out of area and the pup is too young to be spayed at time of adoption, adoption fee will be less, and you will be contracted to complete vetting with proof being provided to the rescue.*Note: please DO NOT apply if you are unsure about adopting a puppy. Yes, they are adorable and fun, but they also require a lot of work and full commitment by all family members. Thank you!***100% of adoption fees go back to the animals and help provide for medical care for our rescues that need specialized medical care and surgeries. Please remember that we are a board of entirely volunteers that have full time jobs as well as our rescue passion. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Neika is a 2 year old sweetheart who was surrendered to Pet Search. She weighs a approximately 45 pounds. She is house broken, and can already ring a bell when she wants to go outside. She is very energetic, loves to play and snuggle and is learning to walk on a leash. After being adopted, she came back to us-she became the alpha/protector at her new home, which resulted in being aggressive with some other dogs. She needs an alpha owner willing to work with her on impulse control and lease control. (Pet Search will recommend a trainer who has been working with her.) we recommend a fenced yard, lots of play time , and a home with no young children because of her energy level. Neika is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Applications can be made through https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAPS/Dog or Petsearchpa.org KL#03301 Washington PA 15301
