Cupcake (also known as Puppers) is a 5 year old, 55lb female lab (likely pittie) mix who came to us as an owner surrender. Because she has had some issues being around one other dogs in her previous home. Since then she has had professional training and has done amazing. This girl is very smart and wants to please her humans!Due to her history for safety, she would do best as an only dog in her forever home. Cupcake has been around dog educated children and a low key cat in her previous home, however we have not had her around cats so it is still unknown.Cupcake's adoption fee is $150.00 which includes her spay, vaccines including DHLPPC vaccines, Lyme vaccines, Kennel Cough vaccine, Rabies vaccine, professional training and Microchip with lifetime registration. Allow us to introduce you to ROSCOE. He is a 2 year old owner surrender to our pound. His owner got into some legal trouble and could no longer care for ROSCOE. ROSCOE is a great dog. He is extremely athletic and loves to run and play. He can chase a ball for as long as you are willing to throw it. He will often bring it back to you, but when he does, it means he wants you to throw it again so he can take off running. ROSCOE is housebroken and neutered, and is extremely treat motivated to please. His rabies vaccine is current but his DHLPPC will need to be updated. This boy is active and would do best with an energetic family, but ROSCOE likes to cuddle up and snuggle too. He is good with kids and seems fine with the other dogs at the pound, but a meetngreet will be necessary. He will be protective of those he loves and will alert you to anyone coming around. Neika is a 2 year-old sweetheart who was surrendered to Pet Search. She weighs approximately 50 pounds. She is house broken, and can ring a bell when she wants to go outside. She is very energetic, loves to play and snuggle and walks well on a leash with a gentle lead collar. After being adopted, she came back to us--she became the alpha/protector at her new home, which resulted in being aggressive with smaller dogs. She needs an alpha owner willing to work with her on impulse and leash control. (Pet Search can recommend a trainer who has been working with her.) We recommend a fenced yard, lots of play time, and a home with no young children because of her energy level. Neika is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Pittie (3/23/19) has had so many tragedies in her life...She was a stray 9 month old puppy when she came to pet Search and was adopted a few months later by Tami and Bart. Two weeks after her adoption, Tami suddenly passed away. Pittie became Bart's center of his world as they both grieved the loss of Tami. Bart suddenly passed away in June and Pittie is grieving once again. She is back with Pet Search and we have given her some time to adjust to her loss. Pittie was raised with a cat and she was originally in a foster home with other dogs, but we are slowing working with her to check her dog selectiveness as she was an only dog for almost 4 years. Pittie has had so many losses in her short life- we are hoping to find another person or family that will provide stability and let her become the love of their life. Estimated to be around 4-5 months old, she will probably top out around 45-50 lbs. Eager to walk on leash, she is always on the hunt for treats and she has figured out the sitting gets her more than jumping. She is some bully mix that is difficult to pinpoint , but her friendly disposition, soft mouth taking treats and gentle enough movements may be just right for a family with kids — and maybe a companion for another dog.

He’s also very observant and attentive, always ready to bond with his humans. Due to past experiences, Tonka cannot be around cats, so a cat-free home is a must. While he can adapt to a kennel, he’s much happier when he’s free to explore and interact. We believe he may have come from a puppy mill and spent a lot of time kenneled, so he deserves a home where he can thrive and feel secure. His tail was broken 4 times so had it amputated, he is much happier for it. It’s heartbreaking to rehome him.
