Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Playful, goofy and friendly 1 year old male pit mix. Meet Simon, a Baja rescue dog with a great story! Simon was rescued after being hit by a car in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. He had lost the use of his back legs, but was still smiling his happy smile at everyone he met! Thanks to great vet care, physical therapy and loving fosters, Simon has regained the use of his legs and now runs around happily playing and greeting everyone he meets.  The vet believes the collision caused temporary paralysis which is now resolved. Simon is a big goofball who loves to play, gets along with other dogs, is housebroken, loves people and has loads of personality. He will do well in a home that can get him plenty of exercise and playtime.  He is still very much a puppy at heart and still learning his manners, but walks well on leash and has learned to Sit for treats! Simon would do well in an active home where he can get the exercise he needs, probably not with small children or cats, but he gets along well with female dogs. Simon is fully vaccinated, sterilized, healthy and ready to find his forever humans! Simon is currently being fostered in La Paz, BCS, but is available for video meet and greets and can be transported anywhere on the US West Coast or Canada. Be sure to watch the video below of Simon to get a feel for his goofy personality! Story
She is very sweet and loves cuddles. She has been around babies and toddlers. She does very well with children and people. She unfortunately cannot be around cats at all. She is also not great with some dogs. Her only problem with some dogs is if they try to take something from her. She makes it clear, but some do not give up, which makes her mad and snappy. Other than that, she is a very sweet and caring animal. She does very well on car rides. She just sleeps the whole time. Any questions at all, just let me know.

Story
Gino is a bull terrier, fully spirited , goofy and very strong willed. He likes 2 walks a day 45-60 mins, pulls a little on leash, fully trained, knows sit, down, touch and has no recall if he gets his eye on the prize. Gino will do well in a home as the only pet, plenty of love and lots of patience. He will need a fully fenced yard and not be off leash, as for he is dog aggressive. He is quick and likes to escape when given the opportunity. Would love to see him in the right hands that understands the needs of a bull terrier.

Story
Miss Denise is an intelligent, lively, eager girl who's been waiting so long for her forever family. She's a bit of a nervous nellie and didn't have the best start in life. Thanks to the loving care of our staff, she has learned to walk on leash and Sit for treats. Give her a calm, loving home and she'll quickly blossom into a wonderful companion. Denise is a watchful girl who starts out a bit shy, but she loves people once she's gotten to know them. She gets along well with most dogs and might do well in a multi-dog family. Call the Ranch to meet this sweet girl today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       May 4, 2024, 7:42 pm

Story
Ella is an extra-special girl! She is spunky, goofy, determined, and very affectionate. She deserves the very best family in the world. She would make a wonderful velcro dog for someone looking for a 24/7 companion. We don't quite know what the clinical diagnosis would be, but Miss Ella is definitely neuro-diverse. It takes her longer to learn new things than an average dog. Though she's gained some self-confidence here at the Ranch, she's still very uncertain in new situations. She needs an adopter who can give her encouragement and guidance and continue to expand her horizons. In the right home, she'll be a happy, bouncy pup, very eager to explore as well as to enjoy all the comforts of life. Ella has been known to get along with some dogs, but she'll likely do best as the one canine love of your life. She has a high prey drive so we don't recommend her with small animals. She takes time and patience to warm up to new people, so an adult-only household with only a couple family members would be ideal. Are you looking for an extra-special dog to be your one and only? Then call the Ranch to meet Miss Ella today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Story
Fernando is such a good, loving boy! He's a fabulous house dog who absolutely adores his people. Fernando gets along with other dogs after a proper introduction, though he might prefer to have you all to himself. He knows how to walk on leash but he's quite strong, and could use some refreshers on not pulling. He is a Very Good Boy: he's crate-trained, potty-trained, and loves young children. He's also crazy about car rides, camping, swimming, and other outdoor adventures. He's not recommended with cats or other small, chase-able animals. Call the Ranch to meet adorable Fernando today! Story
Pretty Miss Freya is longing to find a family who will take her on all the adventures! This athletic, cheerful girl absolutely loves to run and play fetch. She's smart and playful and would make a wonderful companion for an active family. Freya is a handy medium size, which makes it easy to pack her along for camping trips and other outings. She also gets along well with other confident dogs, and she's a natural nanny, good at keeping rowdy personalities in line. We think she'd thrive in a home with a companion. Story
Otis was born in our home and has been with us his entire life. He is a very good boy, but needs a lot of attention. He does not do well with little kids because of the loud and high pitch noises. He does fine with my kitties, but I couldn’t tell you if he will do okay with other cats. He will need to be the only dog, as he doesn’t socialize well with other dogs and can be perceived as aggressive instead of playing rough. He is not an aggressive dog by any means, but is very excitable and has a ton of energy. I have medical issues and am forced to move, and will not be able to keep him in my new living situation.
