Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Playful, goofy and friendly 1 year old male pit mix. Meet Simon, a Baja rescue dog with a great story! Simon was rescued after being hit by a car in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. He had lost the use of his back legs, but was still smiling his happy smile at everyone he met! Thanks to great vet care, physical therapy and loving fosters, Simon has regained the use of his legs and now runs around happily playing and greeting everyone he meets.  The vet believes the collision caused temporary paralysis which is now resolved. Simon is a big goofball who loves to play, gets along with other dogs, is housebroken, loves people and has loads of personality. He will do well in a home that can get him plenty of exercise and playtime.  He is still very much a puppy at heart and still learning his manners, but walks well on leash and has learned to Sit for treats! Simon would do well in an active home where he can get the exercise he needs, probably not with small children or cats, but he gets along well with female dogs. Simon is fully vaccinated, sterilized, healthy and ready to find his forever humans! Simon is currently being fostered in La Paz, BCS, but is available for video meet and greets and can be transported anywhere on the US West Coast or Canada. Be sure to watch the video below of Simon to get a feel for his goofy personality! Story
She is very sweet and loves cuddles. She has been around babies and toddlers. She does very well with children and people. She unfortunately cannot be around cats at all. She is also not great with some dogs. Her only problem with some dogs is if they try to take something from her. She makes it clear, but some do not give up, which makes her mad and snappy. Other than that, she is a very sweet and caring animal. She does very well on car rides. She just sleeps the whole time. Any questions at all, just let me know.

Story
My name is Isabella, I am an 5 year old Pit/Border Collie Mix, and it shows! Not only in my markings, but my personality as well. I have had a bit of a rocky past, so I push limits a lot (as if having the Border Collie Personality on top of Pit Bull Stubborness wasn't enough). I am a rescue transfer, I was brought up from California to a rescue, and adopted out. That adoption fell apart after just two months (they didn't even give me the 3 day, 3 week, 3 month standard rules) I was just starting to feel comfortable and open up. I have been at the rescue for almost 3 months, and starting to let my true colors show. I like to herd things, but a little too over zealous about it. I show herding traits towards cats, but I dislike them so much that it totally takes over and my herd skills are lost. On leash I have been known to clear coffee tables with my body to get to one. My rescue was told that I muzzle punched a dog in training and they didn't let it go any further to determine aggression or play. I play well with a few of the dogs here at the rescue through the fence. I am showing way too much interest in the local ferret so small animals in general is probably a bad idea for me. I haven't growled at them when I have my toy near the fence and I show positive interactions, or just sit and watch them. I love sitting with you once I get calmed down and just absorb attention. The rescue suspects I would love laying in bed with my new family. Over all I am a good girl but with my two breeds, I have a TON of energy. A family that likes to go camping, hiking, and is just generally active would be ideal for me. Because I am still learning leash and other manners small kids would probably not be recommended. I jump and climb all over them, although I am gentle and have never purposely hurt one. Is there anyone out there that can give me the forever home I so deserve? I have so much love to give.

Story
Michelle is a young, active Pit Bull/Boxer mix, she has the more slender body of the boxer and the play slap to go with it. Michelle enjoys playing and having fun. She is always ready to go somewhere and do something. Michelle needs a lot of toys, activities, or other fun things to keep her occupied. Michelle was returned for attacking a cat, rather it be lack of experience or aggression. Michelle does well with kids, and never meets a stranger..... she is a fun loving dog. She seems to be good with dogs, but hasn't had direct contact here as of yet. She was noted to be reactive on walks to other dogs but wasn't sure if it was aggressive or in interest.....
