Story
Diego is an incredibly loving lap dog who thrives on affection and wants nothing more than to be by your side. We are heartbroken to have to rehome him due to separation anxiety, which makes it very difficult for him to be left alone. He is highly social with other animals and is very comfortable living around both dogs and cats, but he is not great around children and needs an adult-only home. While he can be a little hesitant around males at first, he truly just needs a patient handler, extra attention, and a reassuring dose of love to feel safe. Diego will absolutely thrive in a peaceful, child-free environment with a multi-pet family where someone is home most of the day to keep him company and help him feel secure.

Story
Help Me Find My Boy the Home He Deserves This is one of the hardest things I've ever had to write. I'm looking for the right home for my 16month-old Pit Bull. We've had him since he was 4 weeks old, and he's been a loved part of our family ever since. Recently, he bit someone he didn't know while they were on my grandma's property. I truly believe he was trying to protect my son, who was standing behind him, but I understand the seriousness of what happened. Because of this, he can no longer stay here. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, crate and muzzle trained, knows basic commands, and is very toy driven. After being attacked twice by a Bullmastiff, he became reactive to unfamiliar dogs, so he'd do best as an only dog or with an experienced owner who can properly introduce him to other dogs. He'll go with his crate, food, toys, and supplies. Please don't let one moment define him.

Story
Kona is 5 years old and the sweetest dog I have ever had. We purchased him from a farm in Kauai. We got him before moving back to Oregon. He does have some anxiety, so I’m hoping he can be with someone who is more laidback and has a yard. I have two teenage girls who he is great with.

Story
Amara and her family was raised up in a side yard full of trash. They have been rescued and brought to us. She is a loving girl but hasn't found that person she wants to please yet. I am getting some training in, and she rolls over and gives me her belly to rub. She hits on my emotions and anxiety and cuddles when I feel that way, but over all just isn't driven to please me. Amara has recently accepted that the play yard is safe, and has learned to play fetch. She loves the chuck it ball, and gives it up easily. Her training has come a long ways and she is walking better all the time. Her sit and wait commands have improved drastically. Her perfect home is out there somewhere. If you would like to come visit this gem in the rough, make an appointment.

Story
Elsa is a young, energetic pup that is ready to start her adventurous live with that right person. She is always ready to go, and loves to cuddle. She sits in the office chair with me and lets me work, stealing a kiss every now and then. She seems mostly potty trained as she tries to keep her kennel clean. She has been in with a couple other female puppies and seems to play well. She can get a little over excited and rough once in a while and has to be verbally corrected, but nothing too serious.

Story
Please read this post in its entirety. Please acknowledge that you have done so. Your response serves as your preliminary application. Please provide the requested information. I cannot stress that enough. I need more than "I want a dog, live in a house, and will love him/her". Meet Moochi, an approximately 2-year-old Heeler/boxer mix looking for a family who will continue his training to become a good canine citizen. At approximately 45 pounds, he should put a bit of meat on his bones. He was abandoned by an idiot who never came back for him. He loves to play and be with his people. He needs to be engaged and included in family activities, brisk walks, jogging, and car rides. He does well with other dogs, but is protective of his food space; he prefers to dine alone. Sall children seem to make him nervous, so older, respectful children are the order of the day. Crate trained with good potty manners- but do not forget to take him out before bedtime! He loves toys but will take the squeak out of them in a NY minute. He is scheduled for neutering, but is available to the right family as a foster-to-adopt until he has made his one-time testicle donation. Tell us about you, your family, your activities, your property, the city you live in, other pets in your home, and whatever else puts you on top. The more information about you, the better. What can this companion expect from you, and what are your expectations of him/her? Additionally, we will not meet halfway. Please prepare to meet in person without hurry, and be willing to have a home evaluation and viewing of your social media. There is a fee for placement to offset medical and care. Age-appropriate placement is at the discretion of the guardian advocate. Please allow several or more days for a response, as I review inquiries. I appreciate your understanding—Raleigh's Rescue Advocacy. *DNA testing is not performed, and we can only give you an assumed breed or breed mix.
