Story
Meet Henri — The Big, Beautiful Love Bug! Henri is one handsome guy with a heart just as big! This gentle giant has spent his whole life at the shelter, patiently waiting for someone to discover what a wonderful companion he truly is — and lucky for him, he recently got the chance to shine in a foster home, where his foster family can’t stop raving about what a fantastic dog he is! At home, Henri is as mellow as they come. He loves being close to his people, whether that means cuddling on the couch, playing with his favorite toys, or romping happily around the house. He’s a well-rounded gentleman who is potty trained, leash trained, and already knows how to ‘Sit’! Plus, he absolutely adores trips to the dog park where he can run, play, and make new furry friends. His foster family even talks about how well he does in off-leash settings — Henri wants nothing more than to be right next to his people, sticking close like the loyal companion he is. Henri’s social nature means he’d thrive in a home with another dog or two to keep him company, but he’s just as happy being your one-and-only canine buddy — with the occasional fun playdate to keep things exciting! Despite being such a wonderful boy, Henri has been overlooked for far too long. Now, it’s his time to find that special family who will give him the love and forever home he deserves. Could that be you? Call the Ranch today to meet happy Henri and make a new best friend for life! Story
Meet Monty – The Complete Package with a Heart of Gold! Say hello to Monty, a dapper young gentleman who truly lives up to his name — the whole kit and caboodle wrapped into one handsome, athletic package! If you’re searching for a smart, friendly, and loyal companion who’s ready to become your adventure partner and best friend, Monty might just be your perfect match. Monty’s journey hasn’t always been easy. He came from a challenging background, having experienced an abusive home early in life. Since April 2022, Monty has been patiently waiting at the shelter for his forever family, hoping to find a loving home where he can finally settle and thrive. When he first arrived, all Monty wanted to do was hug the staff members — as if thanking them for keeping him safe and loved. Through it all, his loving spirit and deep affection for people have never wavered. This sweet boy approaches everyone he meets with a wagging tail and a warm heart, eager to make new friends and share his joy. With a moderate energy level, Monty strikes a wonderful balance — he’s lively enough to keep up with hikes, runs, and outdoor adventures, yet calm enough to relax and cuddle when the day winds down. His athleticism shines through in his graceful movements and enthusiasm for playtime. Monty is a quick learner who already knows Sit and Down, and he walks politely on leash, making every walk an enjoyable outing for both of you. When Monty greets you, his excitement can be contagious! He tends to bounce with joy, thrilled to see you, but he quickly settles down once he knows he has your full attention. Monty is a true people-pleaser, always striving to earn your approval and shower you with love. Socially, Monty is a superstar. He thrives in the company of medium to large dogs, sharing space with his furry friends gracefully and happily. He’s also great with kids, showing a gentle side that makes him a perfect fit for families of all ages. And if you love road trips, you’ll be delighted to know Monty is a fan of car rides — he’s ready to join you wherever the road takes you! Despite his size, Monty is a gentle giant at heart. His kind demeanor and respectful nature make him an ideal companion for a wide range of households, especially those who appreciate a dog with both brains and heart. If you’re ready to open your home and heart to a remarkable dog who’s as loving as he is athletic, don’t wait! Call the Ranch today to meet Monty and start your new adventure together! Story
Meet Arlow – Your Playful, Loyal, Toy-Loving Companion! Say hello to Arlow, a charming and spirited gentleman who’s ready to bring joy, love, and a whole lot of playtime into your life! Though he’s a mature guy, Arlow absolutely defies his age—he’s active, curious, and always up for the next adventure. Whether it’s a walk, a game of fetch, or just some quality time with his favorite toys, Arlow still lives life to the fullest. Arlow has been patiently waiting for his forever home since July 2023, and we can’t wait for someone to see the amazing dog he is. He thrives on human attention and would love nothing more than a cozy bed, a few good toys, and a family to call his own. This smart boy is already well-trained—he knows “Sit,” “Down,” walks well on a leash, and is incredibly attentive. He absolutely loves toys, especially durable ones like Kongs and Nylabones. But fair warning: don’t say the word “toy” unless you’re ready to see pure joy (and maybe play a lot of fetch)—he takes playtime very seriously! Arlow adapts well to his environment but seems happiest and most at ease in a quieter home with a big yard where he can stretch his legs and relax. He has done well with a few dogs during his time at the shelter, but he may prefer being your one and only. He’s the kind of dog who builds a deep bond with his person and may be happiest soaking up all the love and attention for himself. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving dog who still has plenty of pep in his step and a heart full of love, Arlow might be the perfect match. Let’s help this long-time resident finally find the home he deserves! Call the Ranch to schedule a meet-and-greet with Arlow today—he’s been waiting just for you.
