Boof is a big love bug who thinks he's still a puppy. He needs lots of attention, and he will cry / whine for it. He would do best with in a home where he has a play mate his size or where he is the only pet. He had surgery on both his knees in early 2023 due to running so hard he hurt himself. Boof grew up around kids and cats, but he gets extremely excited when he meets someone new – or when someone comes home!

Hellooooo everyone! I'm Arrow! I've loved everyone I meet. I came over from Linn county to make friends here in Corvallis! I'm an exuberant boy, but I love paying attention to my people. My friends here on staff say that I am totally trainable -- whatever that means! I just know that I do stuff and they call me Good Boy and give me snacks. I need to work on impulse control, but we've already made some progress since I've been here. I like meeting other dogs, so I'd have to meet yours if you have one at home. I am completely housetrained and know how to ride in the car! I prefer to watch traffic or curl up with my head on your arm while you're trying to drive. And while I sure love my humans, I prefer to live in a home with adults. How could you say no to my sweet face? Come over and meet me if you'd like a new best friend for life! My adoption fee is $175.

Blue is a nine-year old Pit Bull mix. He loves people but not small children or small dogs. He has never nipped or bitten a human, but will growl if children touch him a lot. He has snapped at and bitten small dogs that did the same thing. With people and animals bigger than him he is very easy going. Amazingly, he rarely barks. At 9 years old he doesn't need nearly as much exercise as he did as a youth. He also has a little tendonitis. Short walks and/or being let out in the yard seem to satisfy any desire he has for movement. Because we have a 5-month-old daughter who will soon be crawling, we need to find Blue a new home where he can relax and love his people.

Hello there! I'm Tulip and I'm a wonderful little bulldog mix. While I'm a short gal, I weigh and impressive forty pounds! I came to Heartland as a stray, so my exact age isn't known, but staff here have guessed I'm about two years old. I can be weary of new people, but I do warm up quickly. I enjoy treats and my love can be bought with a good snack or a spoon full of wet food. Once I know you and trust you, I'm pretty sure we will be best friends. I think that I would do well in a calmer adult home as new situations can be a little stressful for me. It takes me just a day or so to feel comfortable, but like I said, once I'm comfortable I'm going to be your best friend. I have met a couple of dogs here and I seem to like dogs my own size. Puppies are also great! I also LOVE to play with toys! I think play time should be a daily activity and I know it will help us to build a nice strong bond and it will help us to get to know each other. I would love to meet you!
