Hi, I`m Moo! I`m about 3.5 years old and weigh 72 pounds.** I still need to be spayed/neutered so when my forever family decides to adopt me, I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Do you like...Dogs? I came in to the shelter with another dog. Staff suspect that I`d do best in a home with a calmer canine companion, who can be respectful of my need for space.Cats? Unknown. I can be a pretty energetic girl, I may be to much for kitties in a home, Slow and proper introductions would help set me up for success.Kids? I`m a wiggly girl & I don`t want to accidentally knock anyone over. I`d like to start out meeting kids who are (8+)Anything else you`d like us to know, Moo? I`m a big, sweet house hippo who`s looking for my forever family. I`m an affectionate gal who loves to snuggle and play. Come meet me to see if we`d be a good match.I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. Story
Meet Birdie! Birdie is a young senior sweetheart at 10 years old who’s ready to trade rescue life for a cozy couch and a forever family. Found as a stray and waiting in an overcrowded shelter, this lovely gal never let it dull her sparkle. Birdie is a happy, social girl who truly enjoys making friends—both human and canine—and greets the world with a warm, gentle enthusiasm. When she’s not charming everyone she meets, Birdie proudly reigns as the queen of cozy. Blankets are her specialty, and she’ll happily burrow herself deep for the kind of epic naps only a seasoned snuggle expert can achieve. Birdie has had a full senior wellness workup and will soon be getting a much-needed dental cleaning along with a small mast cell tumor removed so she’s on track to feel her very best. She could be a wonderful addition to a family with respectful kids, other dogs, and possibly even a cat. If you’re looking for a loving, easygoing companion who balances social butterfly energy with expert-level snuggling, Birdie might just be your perfect match. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! If you would like to be considered as Birdie's forever home, be sure to submit an adoption application on our website! Adoption fee includes; spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, dewormer, fecal testing, flea/tick prevention and age-appropriate vaccines. Birdie would do great in a home with...Cats : Dogs : Yep!  Kiddos : Yep!   ##2610204##
