Story
Samson is the sweetest dog and a wonderful companion. He is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. He may be a couch potato at heart, but he's always up for a walk or car ride. He mostly does okay on walks, but he could benefit from someone taking the time to do more leash training with him. He does well being left alone, but if it was up to him he would be with his people every minute of the day :) After we adopted Samson from Portland Humane in January 2024, he warmed up to us right away, but unfortunately he does not get along with our cat. We have tried everything, but they are simply not a good match. Having to keep them seperated all the time is causing too much stress, so we have made the tough decision to find Samson a new home. This decision saddens our hearts, but we know that he will bring his next owner so much joy. We hope to find his forever home.

Hello! My name is Ahsoka. I am a blue nose pittie. I am almost 4. My mom is trying to find me a loving home. I have had a hard time adjusting to our new living situation and am reactive to other dogs. I did get in a fight with my dog roommate and we bit eachother. We are doing ok now, but I think being an only animal would be best. I have some special medication needs due to allergies and anxiety. I have done well with my toddler sister, but have growled when she is picking on me and not listened to mom to have her stop. So no kids in the home would be best. I need someone who has patience and time to work through my anxiety and reactivity. Mom and I have worked on this, and I have gotten better, but still need help. Feel free to ask any questions. My mom loves me and wants the best home possible.
