Story
At around 9 years old, Warthog might be considered an old soul to some. Sometimes, his actions could make you believe he's a lot younger. He has his active times and his lazy times. He can be dog-selective. He does very well with cats as he is usually the dog we'll dog-test cats with. He will try to get your attention by sitting at the front of his kennel with a slow, calm bark until you come closer. Warthog came from a sad background, but despite all that he can still put his faith in the people he knows will help him and treat him good! He might be a little shy while taking some time to warm up to new people, but once he does, he'll steal your heart. He loves to play a good game of tug-o-war with anyone willing to play back. He presents himself much better outside of the kennels with more free open space to play and run.

Wanda is a big girl who was brought in after running around town with a pal. She does well around other dogs. She is very sweet, loves attention and being pet. For an adult dog, she has "puppy energy" and loves to play with her toys. She has a very defining and unique look; very beautiful with her one big blue eye.

Story
Ivy is about 5 years old and can sometimes have puppy energy. She was abandoned in early March at no fault of her own and since she came to the shelter, she loves up on everyone that allows it. She loves getting attention and giving it back. She loves giving hugs and loves them in return as well. She is a very sweet girl who can be playful but usually just likes to chill out, get belly rubs and sunbathe. Ivy loves to go for walks and walks very well on the leash. 9 times out of 10, she interacts very well with other dogs. If you're ready to give Ivy all the attention she deserves, apply today for this sweetheart.

Story
He is about 2 years old and very gentle and calm for a younger pup. He can be a little shy at first, but warms up quickly. His docile manner is very different from some of the other dogs. He enjoys scratches on the head, behind the ears, on his neck/chest, his back...pretty much everywhere!! He has only been here for a short time but like any other animal, the shelter life is not meant for Yukon. You can tell he once had a loving home and knows he deserves love because he is such a good boy! He doesn't seem to mind the other dogs. With an approved application, we can cat test and officially dog test Yukon for a potential adopter.

Story
Hi there! I'm Sapphire and I'm really happy to meet you! I was brought to the shelter in July of 2021. I came in with a bunch of other Pit Bulls, all of which have been adopted. I don't really understand why I am the only one still here. I am a lot of fun! I really like playing in water, so if you ever wanted a buddy to go swimming with, please take me! When I'm not playing in the pool I like to keep active in other ways, like getting the zoomies and sprinting around or playing with toys. While I am a super sweet girl, I will need an experienced owner to continue to work with me and get that energy under control! Because of this I would not do well in a house with children, as I can get very rambunctious. I am also dog selective, but not necessarily opposed to a furry friend! However, I cannot go to a home with cats! So, if you have the space for my energy and the patience to help me channel it into other activities I'd love to meet you! I am a super sweet girl.Activity level: highWeight: 60 lbs Primary Color: Blue Secondary Color: White Age: 6yrs 0mths 0wks

Story
Camo is a sweet, gentle 11-year-old pitbull terrier mix who is looking for a good home to live out his retirement years. Since arriving to Four Footed Friends when his owner was no longer physically able to take care of him, Camo has been an extremely friendly and affectionate dog. He is a quiet guy who is easy to walk outside on a leash. He loves to be around people and gets really excited when new people come to meet him. Our staff and volunteers have seen him really enjoy his bath time and do really well with his nails being clipped. Camo loves to snuggle up on the couch and fits the demeanor and description of a great family dog. There are only a couple things Camo is not a huge fan of and that includes cats and some other dogs. Please consider giving this lovable old soul a comfortable home. If you think you can provide Camo with a forever home, please reach out and contact Four Footed Friends at (724) 349-1144 or fourfootedfriends82@gmail.com. You can also visit https://www.fourfootedfriends.org/ for more information on our organization and other pets we have available for adoption. Story
Meet Newman! Newman was brought to ICHS as part of a humane case. Unfortunately, he was not being properly taken care of and was left outside in harsh winter temperatures. Despite his horrible past, Newman is still just the friendliest guy! He loves meeting new people and is definitely a social butterfly. He loves hanging out with our shelter staff and receiving all the butt scratches. When he isn't being loved on by our staff, Newman loves to play! He seems to like all kinds of toys but especially loves ripping up a good plushie. He would love to have a home where he can have his own bin of toys. Because of his past, Newman will need some training, but he is very eager to learn! When it comes to other dogs, Newman can be dog selective but isn't completely opposed to having a furry friend. So, if you're looking for a friendly and silly doggo consider putting in an adoption application for Newman today!Activity Level: MediumWeight: 48 lbs Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Age: 2yrs 1mths 2wks

Story
Oakley is a cute, friendly, 10-year-old pitbull mix that is in need of a new home where she can settle down with her human companion. She is the friendliest dog and loves to be around people, spend time with people, and be close to people. She will let you know just how much she enjoys spending time with you through her affection. Oakley loves to give kisses and make people smile, and she of course loves to receive pets and scratches from you in return. Even though she is getting up there in age, Oakley is pretty active and energetic and enjoys being outside in the yard, and going on walks. She is simply just a lot of fun to be around and is one of those dogs who is happiest when she can share her life with you! Oakley is not a fan of cats and she does not like to share her space with other doggie friends either. As a results she should be the only animal in a home. Do you think you can provide her with a forever home? If so, please reach out and contact Four Footed Friends at (724) 349-1144 or dogmanager@fourfootedfriends.org. Story
Roxy is an adorable, funny, and extremely friendly 3-year-old pitt/boxer mix who is excited to meet her new human companions! This young lady has a lot of energy and always gets really excited to go outside and release some of it. On her walks, she loves to sniff around and has the tendency to make some cute and goofy noises in the process. Roxy is very compact, strong, and built, and her excitement can get the best of her on a leash making her a little challenging to walk at the moment. However, she is very smart and trainable and would benefit from specific instruction in this regard. Roxy is a people’s dog through and through. She loves to be around people, receive and share affection, and snuggle up. It is hard not to smile when she looks up at you wagging her tail. She is a lovable girl who will always be happy to see you, comfort you, and spend quality time with you, exactly what you would want in a new best friend! Roxy has also lived swimmingly with both other dogs and kids before. Do you think you can provide Roxy with a forever home? If so, please reach out and contact Four Footed Friends at (724) 349-1144 or dogmanager@fourfootedfriends.org.
