He was found abandoned in a crate inside a home, covered in his own filth and underweight. He was not alone in this, some of you may remember Angel who had to be rushed to the emergency clinic because she had a deceased pup stuck. Angel has since found her forever home, but Tito has not been as fortunate.Tito is still waiting for someone to give him a home. Tito was extremely on edge and defensive when he was found, which is understandable considering what he went through.Looking at him today, you`d never know what he had to endure. And while we have cleaned him up and gotten him to a perfect weight, some things take longer to heal. Tito has what we call “stranger danger.”This simply means he didn’t easily trust people he didn’t know. Considering what people have done to him in the past, who can blame him for having his guard up? Once he is won over, he is truly a big baby. He is so sweet and full of life.Tito is estimated to be around 6 years old. He knows basic commands. He can be selective with other dogs but the dogs he does like, he loves.He plays well with them, walks well with them, and respects their boundaries. Tito loves to play off leash in our play yard. Timber is a 42 pound boy who has the sweetest color eyes . Hes a dreamy boy with a big heart ?? He’s 2 years old , he’s tested well with other dogs on premises but not in close quarters, no cats. Timbers adoption fee is fully sponsored . He was originally brought in as stray which turned out to be an owner surrender .He’s been on his best behavior with us and has done well meeting new people and working with our volunteers.He apparently had an issue with children in the home so we will not be placing him in a home with them.Unfortunately we don’t have the details of the situation but we always err on the side of caution for the safety of our animals as well as our adopters .Timber is a handsome boy who loves attention and is eager to please.He would do best with a family who can commit to investing time in his continued training so he could understand what his family expects from him .Dogs like children, thrive on structure and discipline, and have a great desire to please .
