Story
Scrappy is a loyal, intelligent 10-year-old dog who has been with me since he was only two months old. He has a protective spirit and a big bark, but he has never harmed anyone or another pet. He is fully house-trained, knows many tricks, and still shows the confident personality that made him such an incredible companion all these years. He is gentle, alert, and loves being close to his person. Rehoming him is one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever faced. I developed severe allergies and asthma this past year, and even with treatment, my health has been affected. Scrappy deserves a loving, steady home where he can enjoy his senior years with someone who will appreciate his loyalty, his intelligence, and his sweet, protective nature. He has been the best dog anyone could ask for, and I want him to have a home that will love him as much as I always have.

Ares is a joyful, friendly three-year-old dog with the happiest spirit. He loves to play, has plenty of energy, and brings a sweet, innocent presence to any home. He does well with other dogs, follows commands, and is fully house-trained. He has a natural hunter instinct, so he enjoys chasing squirrels and small animals, but he is gentle and loving with people and pets. Letting him go is incredibly difficult. I’ve developed severe allergies and asthma over the past year, and despite treatment, my health has been affected. Ares deserves a home where he can run, play, and be loved the way he deserves. He has been one of the best dogs I’ve ever had, and I want him to find a family who will cherish his bright, joyful personality.

Shy is a 3 year old 40 lb spayed female mix of American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull likely. She is a super sweet and somewhat shy girl but will warm up quickly! Came from San Antonio kill shelter as a lost dog of course. Our Texas sister team pulled her before euthanasia because so was so sweet to and non-aggressive. She is people and dog and cat friendly! Gabriella is a 1 year old 41 lb spayed female mix of American Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier mix likely. She is very dog friendly and people friendly, no cats. She came from San Antonio kill shelter and our Texas Sister Rescue pulled her because she was in jeopardy of euthanasia due to lack of space. But she is very sweet and was cohoused in a kennel in the kill shelter because she was very dog friendly! She is microchipped and vaccinated and heartworm negative! She deserves a loving home! He has been in a shelter for over a year, and definitely doesn't deserve that for sure! He is a love bug with humans! Needs a harness on a leash because he is tracheal sensitive. Great in car rides!
