Story
Juno is a very sweet and loving dog who bonds deeply with his people. He enjoys cuddling, following you around the house, and being part of your daily routine. He has so much potential to thrive - he just needs the right environment and a person who understands anxious dogs. Juno developed significant anxiety after two traumatic attacks (one at a dog park as a puppy and another incident when he briefly ran away). Since then, his anxiety has been difficult for us to manage despite consistent training and medical support. He has been evaluated by a veterinarian, is currently on Prozac, and has attended multiple behavioral training sessions. We have put in a lot of work and love, but his anxiety has continued to escalate, and we feel he needs a calmer, more structured environment than we can provide. Due to this, Juno has begun urinating in the house and has destroyed several household items during panic episodes. These behaviors are not constant, but have become frequent.

Story
SOS.., My wife (Kate) and I are the owners of a 5-year-old 60-lb pit-mix named Maddie that was abandoned near our house in Nashville, TN (USA) 4-years ago at a time when we had 4-senior dogs. She was not supposed to remain with us, but we could not find her another home as she is a challenging dog with some behavioral issues. We avoided taking her to a shelter as we were pretty sure she'd be euthanized soon after intake. We put a lot of effort into training her which has helped. She can listen well, but her main issue is that she is super impulsive and aggressive with other dogs. She is dog-reactive on leash and behind barriers like a fence or a window. She can also be bite-reactive if someone or another dog go face-to-face with her while she is resting which is our biggest concern since we now have a 15-month-old wild-child toddler int he house. Maddie, however, is super loyal, super active, and an amazing cuddler. She deserves a calmer home and a firm and active leader.

Story
This was my brother's baby, unfortunately my brother passed away at age 36 from a anurism rupture in his aorta in 2021, my mom has tried to keep him, but is no longer able to take care of him. He was unfortunately hit by a car after my brother's passing, and lost one of his front paws. He is a teddy bear. He does show signs of depression since my brother passed away, and with our busy schedule is often left alone. We are looking for a home for him where he can get the love and attention he so desperately needs. Although he looks intimidating, he is so lovable, and craves a best friend to play with him and give him attention and love him as much as my brother did. It will break our hearts to let him go, he's the only thing we have left of my brother, but with my mom's health, it has become impossible for her to take care of him, unfortunately I already have 2 dogs myself and cannot take care of him.

Story
Hello! My name is Lady Jane, your new, favorite big headed Mixed Bully Breed Best Friend (MBBF)! I have been hearing rumors that I am about 4 years old, that I recently had puppies and that I am homeless. Well, I guess it was a fun night on Broadway cause I don't remember any of that. But I do know is that some nice people found me and helped to get me to safety and now I am on my healing journey! My favorite things include chasing footballs (which with football kicking off this week is the most perfect timing), eating snacks- leftover steak might be my favorite, snuggling on the couch with "fo-mom while she has coffee and generally being close enough to lick my human's face. I enjoy a good game of fetch, and once I get to trust you more I will begin to leave the toy on the ground so you feel comfortable enough to pick it up and throw it again without me giving you side eye. By the way, did I tell you about my side eye? It is probably 10/10. While we are at it...I don't like to brag, but I am VERY good at walking on leash, going to the bathroom while leashed and I am comfortable sleeping and staying in a crate. I have a lot of pride in the presentation of my crate, so I will not go to the bathroom in there and am able to hold it until I make it outside. Some of my least favorite things include grass (which I have been told I have an allergy to, but I am taking allergy meds to help with that), having my feet sprayed with medicine (it's not as much the medicine as it is the sound), taking baths with a hose (unless I am allowed to eat the hose, then I am a bit more indifferent). I am very excited to find my foster or forever home and be able to set up shop with a football, my person, and a comfy spot to lay down. My perfect foster/forever home is one that does not have any other pets (I have heard this is a non-negotiable- but hey...more lovin' for me, right?!?), has a human that is patient, excited and willing to work with me, and, most importantly, someone that is able to see that I am just a girl looking for her person to complete her journey in this rollercoaster called life! Could that be you? If you are interested in fostering or adoption please apply and email jen@soarnash.org
