Story
Delilah has an incredible story of strength and perseverance after being found abandoned and starved, and she has not allowed that to make her scared or aggressive. She is soft and loving and sooooo wants to please her person. She knows sit and stay, loves her xpen with soft blankets and a plush dog bed, and throughly enjoys toys and treats! She is cautious with dogs and will require careful introduction and work on socialization. She met one cat that approached her kennel and she wasn’t a fan - she barked at him until he walked away. Again, with careful introduction and socialization, she will likely learn to adapt. She will need a fenced space to run and play. She is fixed and UTD on vaccines, as well as on HW prevention and flea and tick treatment. She is heartworm positive and is going through treatment currently. Gigi’s will manage the remainder of her care with the right family … allowing her to go to her new home while she finishes treatment! That treatment consists of daily meds and then 3 injections - one in January and two in February. After that, she’ll be med free and feeling great! She is very full of life and active!

Story
Sweet, energetic, Jupiter is ready for adoption. She is a special needs girl who will need continued medical care. When she came to the rescue she had virtually no hair due to Demodex Mange, Heart worm positive, and a severe eye infection caused by Entropion (which is when the eyelids roll inward and the eye lashes are constantly rubbing the eye). She has been treated for mange, been spayed, and has had multiple surgeries to fix her eyes. We do not know if her hair will ever fully come back. She is receiving treatment for heart worms. She will need to continued treatment with eye medication due to now having dry eye. We have also discovered that she suffers from allergies. This will require continued allergy injections, RX food, and regular vet visits for skin issues. We know its a lot, but we simply can't give up on her. She does well with some dogs,, but would love to be spoiled and live her life as an only pet. She does great with the 3yr old in her foster home.

Ayer is a sweetheart to say the least. She loves and lives for affection. She's eager to please . She is a dog that is pretty codependent at times.. It manifest a lot of times as separation anxiety and storm anxiety. Don't fret though with management she is the perfect companion. She is currently in a home with a young infant and a three-year-old that she does fabulous with as well. She tends to be a rough player and it's quite goofy with most other dogs. Please no cats. She loves to play! Is housebroken, crate trained, up to date on shots and spayed. Please give this girl a chance of a lifetime since she wholeheartedly deserves it!

This is Milli. We believe he is about 4/5 years old. He is a couch potato who loves to sleep in your bed or on a heated blanket at all times. He is crate trained, house trained, leash trained, good with kids, and other same size or smaller female dogs. He is fixed. We originally adopted him 2 years ago from a shelter. From what we understand he was a street dog when found. He was very shy at first and took a while to warm up, but eventually he settled in great with our family. We had 1 other small female dog when we got him and added another female pittie about a year later. All 3 got along great. We recently got a German Shepard who is male. Milli has become aggressive with him unprovoked on multiple occasions. We really don’t want to rehome him but it is getting too much for us, especially with small kids around. Looking to rehome him to a family who has more relaxed dogs, probably no male dogs or dogs bigger than him as we think this is his trigger.

Gator came to us from a less than desirable situation. He is a blind pup with so much love to give. He is currently in a foster home with big sis Mia. She is a German Shepherd that has shown this sweet puppy the ropes. We are going to require at least one other dog in the household that he can bond with. He loves others dogs. He does not let his disability get in his way at all. Although he’s not the most fond of being crated right now, that’s probably something you could work towards if wanted. He is fully vetted and is started on flea/tick/HW preventative. Gator is a rambunctious puppy that absolutely loves life and loves love. Are you ready to give him a chance?
