Story
If you are looking for an emotional support animal that will lick your tears away and thrive in your joy as y’all take long walks or run around a yard together look no further! It hurts my heart thinking of parting ways with the best girl I’ve ever known but she deserves a loving stress free home filled with love and long walks and preferably a yard for her zoomies. I first rescued Shelby from being a stray here in San Antonio as a new born puppy 3 years ago then moved her out with me to New Mexico where we went on many adventures and where she loved the snow! Shelby is the goofiest sweetest loving girl! Energetic and playful and SO loving. I wish I had the space and time for her and my first born daughter to learn to love each other the way I did but unfortunately due to a lack of space time and support I have to make the hard but best decision for her of finding her a better home. She deserves someone who is ready to play when they come home and lots of cuddles and adventures.

She is a good and docile dog. 7 years of age, not a big barker and is pretty calm most of the time. She knows to stand at the back door when she needs to go outside and is great with kids, babies and toddlers. We are relocating and can't take her with us. She has a slight crink in her hip that makes her walk a bit crooked but she isn't in any pain, she doesn't jump alot because of it though.

Gracie Belle - Yes, having two names definitely makes me extra special! And believe me, I AM special! I'm not your average pup; I'm a delightful boxer mix with ears that act like radars, always tuned in to the fun and excitement around me. I've got a genuine penchant for adventure and a passion for running that knows no bounds. As I've grown, I've blossomed into a loving and mature young dog. My youthful exuberance is now complemented by a deeper sense of loyalty and affection. I've learned the ropes of good behavior, and I'm ready to be the devoted companion you've been looking for. I'm an active girl, and I thrive alongside other active, friendly dogs or I am good by myself to take all the attention from you :) With my sleek and muscular build, weighing in at about 50-55 pounds, I'm the perfect size for all kinds of outdoor activities. I'd make the ideal companion for a family that loves to keep moving! Do you enjoy running, hiking, camping, boating, or any adventure under the sun? Well, guess what? I'm ready to be your partner in all those exciting escapades. So why wait? Fill out that adoption application today, and let's embark on a lifetime of thrilling journeys together! Story
Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind. I like most new people I meet although I had a rough start in life so sometimes, I can be a little wary with men, with time though I adjust, and we can become best friends forever. A few more little details about me: I am almost 3 years old I am a Boxer/Shepherd mix I am great with kids I am good with Cats and Dogs I am crate-trained I am housebroken I can be adopted in Texas or anywhere in the US too! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
In this corner, weighing a solid 70 pounds it's Buddy the boxer! This gentle and docile boxer has a soft and sweet temperament, other fighters in the ring noted that Buddy would rather wag his tail and play rather than duke it out. Buddy is a smart boy, knowing a few commands so far and excited to learn more! He's great around everyone: dogs, kids, people and hasn't experienced many cats yet. You can often find Buddy carrying around his toys. He will make a great companion dog who loves to play! Great in his kennel and knows how to go potty Buddy is ready to make a great addition to your family! Story
I am Rubble. I was found on the highway and I'm the only survivor in my family of distemper. I do have twitches from the distemper but I am otherwise healthy and a typical puppy. I will require an active family in an owned home with a securely fenced yard ideally with someone who has Boxer/Retriever mix experience. I would do well with a family with another dog and children. I will require some training and daily meds. I have such a sweet, lovable personality. Fill out an application online to claim me as yours.

Story
Hello my name is Amy! I am 8 yrs old and I am deaf. I am 94 lbs and a complete cuddle bug. I am highly pray driven so I will not do well in a home with small pets. I have experience with young children and know not to jump on people. I also know basic commands like sit, shake paws, stay, down, and roll over. I am also crate and house trained. Unfortunately my pet parents were not able to get me spayed but I am a very good girl. Although I am considered a senior I still have energy to play and can be a good hiking buddy. I love meeting people and getting as many head rubs as possible. ( I might bark at first but I quickly realize I have a new friend). I would love to join your family.
