Story
LD is a young, sometimes people selective boy. He may be selective about people, but once he bonds with you, he will be by your side faithfully for the rest of his days. He will require a home with no young children, as he has not been around them in our care. He is a medium energy boy who would love to be a part of your daily routine for the rest of his life. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and ready to love you!

Story
Everyone needs a hero sometimes. Cypress was mine in February when I was approached by loose dogs and he calmly stepped in front of me. His protection meant I escaped without injury, but this brave boy suffered some deep punctures and soft tissue damage. Now Cypress has recovered and needs a hero himself. He needs an adoptive home. Over a year ago Cypress was starved, frost bitten, and alone out in the country. He had taken shelter in a rural building and was frightened, not letting anyone approach him, and he wouldn't leave. They were out of options and we stepped in. With love and hot dogs we brought him to safety and since then he has been a part of The Pit Bull Pen family. He flourished in a safe warm home with consistent meals and soon showed he was well house trained and loved tough chew toys and tearing up stuffed animals. We recently discovered his love for playing in water! He has been neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is a solid 80 pounds of love. He has gone through many months of training at @mattox and is eager to show off his skills. We recently learned he is much older than we believed and our boy is an aged but still enthusiastic overgrown puppy at 8 years old. He does well with people with appropriate introductions and once he decides you are safe your lap is fair game, he is convinced he fits perfectly. He mostly ignores other dogs and does best with other polite dogs and more submissive ones. Cypress cannot be housed with cats and is very high drive toward them. Cypress was worth saving. He was worth healing him from frostbite and helping him gain weight. He was worth investing months of intensive training into. He deserves to find his amazing forever home where he can bask in the sun and frolick in water. He will be a beloved family member. He is currently in Tricities Washington and his adoption fee is $350.

Story
Everyone's favorite goofy girl Frankie popping in to remind everyone she's still single and ready to mingle! Frankie has Cerebellar hypoplasia, which means part of her brain stem didn't didn't develop enough. It affects her balance and coordination. She has been living with it her whole life and it doesn't keep her from living a fulfilling life at all. She can run and play like other dogs and she is the most cheerful creature you'll ever meet. Generally she sometimes stumbles or steps off edges, she has occasional head bobbing motions, and she tends to hold her back legs wider apart than is usual. This is not a degenerative condition and the Frankie you meet today is the Frankie she will continue to be. It is not painful and she can be expected to have a normal lifespan. Other dogs tend to be uncomfortable around Frankie and she has learned to expect them to be unpleasant to her. As a result we feel it is in her best interest to go to an only dog home. She has been cat neutral. She adores humans! Strangers are just friends she hasn't met yet. She is slightly awkward as if her legs aren't all original factory parts and her tongue is frequently out. She is a bit odd and beyond lovable. Frankie is a year old mixed breed, predominantly Staffie and Rottweiler. She is dewormed, microchipped, vaccinated, spayed, and ready to be odd and lovable with her forever family. She is a volunteer favorite and is cheerful living at the rescue, she doesn't really know any other life, but we are all wishing she could find her people who will love her as much as we do. She is currently in Tricities Washington. Her adoption fee is $400.

Story
Meet Scout! This petite 45 pound 8 month old pit catahoula mix would be a good fit for a family with an active lifestyle who could take her on long walks and adventures. She loves to play with toys, balls, and ropes, but her favorite is her peanut butter filled kong. She just recently began swimming on her own and watching her kicking in the water will definitely melt your heart. She'll go fetch in the lake for toys, balls, and sticks. Scout is fully potty trained and crate trained. She is highly intelligent and intuitive and would thrive with ongoing training. She gets distracted easily, but you can get her to focus with consistent training with treats and pats. Scout would benefit from slow appropriate introductions with any species except people. She loves people right away! She is good with kids and some other dogs, although she still needs consistent training to not to get too excited. Cats are unknown. She has signs of allergies and will need limited ingredient food choices. Scout is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and dewormed. Currently located in Tricities Washington. Her adoption fee is $450.

Story
Wonder is a sweet soulful girl who tries so hard to be brave even when it is scary. She is timid around new people to start but once she warms up she is so so sweet natured. She will give you the best butt wiggles in exchange for a piece of string cheese. This girl is loving and shy. She hogs the bed and makes little snort sounds when she's sniffing around the yard. She is great with other dogs and loves playing with the kitty. She instantly gains confidence to explore and be adventurous with another dog around, she would thrive in a home with a dog friend for her. She likes playing in water and could spend forever playing tug-a-war. Wonder is a 1 year old lab pit mix. She is spayed, dewormed, microchipped, and vaccinated. She is currently in Tricities Washington. Her adoption fee is $400.
