Story
Lola is a stunning pitbull girlie with sparkling eyes and perky ears that HOLLER “Come play with me!” She is bright, athletic, and full of joyful confidence, moving through the world with ease and curiosity. Lola loves people, thrives on attention, and has a natural charm that makes friends wherever she goes. Playful yet balanced, she enjoys games like fetch, long walks, and time spent alongside other dogs, making her a wonderfully social and engaging companion. HISTORY Lola’s DOB is July 4, 2025. She has been raised alongside her male littermate in a home that made a conscious effort to treat them as individuals. They were crated, trained, walked, and fed separately to ensure healthy development and independence. Lola is located in Kennewick, in Eastern Washington. We share information about our dogs in postings based in other cities to improve their chances of finding a great forever home. She is well worth a road trip, and we encourage you to come and meet her before you decide she should join your family! SOCIALIZATION, TEMPERAMENT AND TRAINING Lola is a social butterfly in the best sense of the phrase. She genuinely enjoys meeting new people and has done excellent with other dogs. She plays appropriately, reads social cues well, and seems to find joy in shared activity rather than conflict. Her easygoing social nature makes her a wonderful candidate for a multi-dog home, provided introductions are thoughtful and structured. She loves walks and carries herself with an athletic, balanced energy. She is not frantic or chaotic, but she does enjoy having an outlet for her physical drive. A daily walk, a game of fetch in the yard, or structured playtime will go a long way in keeping her happy and fulfilled. Lola absolutely blossoms with attention and praise. She wants to engage, to participate, and to be included in whatever her family is doing. Like any older puppy entering adolescence, Lola may test boundaries or get distracted by the world around her. She is still growing and learning. With consistency, continued positive training, and an active lifestyle, she has all the makings of a confident, well-rounded adult companion. HEALTH STATUS General info Lola is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, sterilized, and dewormed. She appears to be in good health. Once full grown, she will likely be somewhere in the 50–70 lbs range, maintaining her trim and athletic build. ADOPTION The adoption fee for Lola is $425. Our process starts with an online application and may take a few days to a week to complete. We appreciate your patience while we do our part. To apply to adopt Lola, please complete our online adoption application at https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/HAWA-A-96 or email hearthfireART@gmail.com and request an adoption application form. HART dogs live in foster homes, not in a kennel facility. To respect our fosters' privacy, we make our dogs available to meet adopters only after an adoption has been approved.

Story
Milo is the kind of pup who enters a room like it is the best day of his life and you are the reason why. This young pitbull is bursting at the seams with joy, curiosity, and big teenage energy wrapped up in a solid, snuggly body. He loves hard, plays hard, and feels everything in full color. There is nothing halfway about him. When he is happy, his whole body wiggles. When he bonds, it is deep and devoted. Milo is not subtle, and he is not low key, but he is incredibly genuine. He is the kind of dog who will look at you like you hung the moon and mean it. HISTORY MIlo's DOB is July 4, 2025. He comes from a family where he has been raised with a female littermate. Their family has made a great effort to treat them as individual dogs and prevent littermate syndrome. Milo is located in Kennewick, in Eastern Washington. We share information about our dogs in postings based in other cities to improve their chances of finding a great forever home. He is well worth a road trip, and we encourage you to come and meet him before you decide he should join your family! SOCIALIZATION, TEMPERAMENT AND TRAINING Milo is a lot of puppy stuck in a big dog body, and he has no clue how big he is. He is bouncy, enthusiastic, and always ready for whatever is happening next. He greets life head first and heart wide open. With his people, he is affectionate, playful, and deeply engaged. He currently lives with young children and does well with them, but he would prefer a home with older children where there is less chaos and unpredictability in his environment. He has also been raised alongside his female littermate, and the two have been intentionally managed as individual dogs and not a team. They were crated, trained, walked, and fed independently. While he has an established relationship with her, he has struggled with unfamiliar dogs. Because of this, we are seeking a single-dog home where he can continue to mature without the pressure of navigating new canine relationships. Milo is an older puppy, which means he is officially entering the doggy teenage stage—also known as the “I forgot everything I’ve ever learned but I’m still very cute” phase. Think of it as his goofy middle school era. He may test boundaries, get distracted by a leaf blowing across the yard, and have opinions about things he didn’t notice before. It’s all normal, temporary, and honestly pretty hilarious. With consistency, patience, and fun training sessions, he’ll grow right through it and come out the other side an amazing adult dog. HEALTH STATUS General info Milo is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, sterilized, and dewormed. He appears to be in good health. Once full grown, he will likely be somewhere in the 50-70 lbs range. ADOPTION The adoption fee for Milo is $425. Our process starts with an online application and may take a few days to a week to complete. We appreciate your patience while we do our part. To apply to adopt Milo, please complete our online adoption application at https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/HAWA-A-95, or email hearthfireART@gmail.com and request an adoption application form. Story
If you’ve ever wished you could bottle up pure kindness, wrap it in soft puppy fur, and add the gentlest little wagging tail… that would be Elsa. She is truly perfection in puppy form. Check out her cuteness in her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/B1WGL13Zh3E?si=O21-1i5fMphN89fA Elsa is a five-month-old Pitbull/Lab mix with the most tender, loving soul. She doesn’t just walk toward you… she does the cutest little slow scoot-walk, almost melting into you as if she can’t get close enough fast enough. It’s her signature move, and yes — it will absolutely steal your heart every single time. This sweet girl is the definition of gentle-natured. Every step she takes, every kiss she gives, every cuddle she sneaks in — it’s all done with softness and love. She doesn’t just like affection… she lives for it. Pets? Yes please. Belly rubs? Don’t stop. Sitting next to you on the couch? Even better if she can press her whole little body into you. She’s a certified cuddle bug who believes there is no such thing as “too much love.” Elsa adores people. Big people, little people, anyone who will give her a smile and a scratch behind the ears. Her eyes light up when she sees you, and her whole body wiggles with happiness. She has that rare, special energy — playful and fun, yet calm and incredibly sweet at the same time. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and loves to play! Whether she’s bouncing around in the yard or gently romping with a doggy friend, she keeps her soft, kind nature. Even during playtime, she’s still polite and loving. It’s honestly amazing how such a young puppy can already have such a beautifully balanced personality. At just five months old, Elsa is still a baby with so much potential. With a little guidance, consistency, and love (which she will happily return tenfold), she is going to grow into the most incredible lifelong companion. She’s the kind of dog who will follow you from room to room just to be near you. The kind who will rest her head on your lap after a long day. The kind who makes a house feel like home. Elsa isn’t just a puppy. She’s warmth. She’s comfort. She’s joy wrapped in velvet ears and a wagging tail. If you’re looking for a gentle best friend, a built-in cuddle buddy, and a heart that loves with everything it has — Elsa is waiting for you. Adopt her… but fair warning: you will fall in love. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69860f681410244f7b0d97e0 Questions? Story
HI - I'M SANDY! I'm a 7-1/2-year-old sweet snuggler girl who needs a foster or forever home! I've been waiting for three years for someone to choose me. I love to cuddle, hang out and watch TV, and go for walks, hikes, and other adventures. I do well with some dogs (I used to live in a home with a female dog), but prefer people to other dogs so I can get all of the attention. If you're looking for a snuggler, someone to share your bed and hug, I'm it! I truly am a lap dog, and I crave human attention and affection. I'm also super happy, and am just waiting for my person or people to come along. I weigh about 56 lbs. I'm currently in California, but can be transported to Washington.

Story
🐾 Meet Dora the Explorer 🐾 Now fostered in Beaverton, OR Some pups have that rare mix of confidence, sweetness, and easygoing charm — and Dora is absolutely one of them. At 8 months old and 39 lbs, she’s already showing the kind of temperament that makes daily life feel joyful and manageable, whether that’s out on the trail or curled up on the couch. Dora is friendly and social with both people and dogs, and she’s wonderfully non-reactive in public. She plays well without being pushy, listens to gentle corrections from humans or canine friends, and settles beautifully. She’s incredibly smart and eager to learn — already mastering sit, down, leave it, paw, and more, with plenty of room to grow if someone wants to keep the fun training going. She’s fully potty trained and crate trained, sleeps through the night, and handles a standard workday in her crate with ease. Dora is food motivated, patient, and polite — she waits for an “okay” before eating and shares food and toys well. She loves outdoor adventures like hiking and Sniffspots, happily plays on her own (even in the rain), and is always down for chase or tug. Water lovers, take note: Dora adores water. Baths? No problem. Nail trims? Totally fine. She’ll even try to join a shower if given the chance. But her favorite thing of all is affection — Dora lives for cuddles and will melt into a happy puddle for belly rubs and pets. Dora would thrive with an active, outdoorsy person, a family with kids to play with, or someone who simply wants a loyal shadow and best friend. A home with another dog and a yard to sniff and explore would make her extra happy — but what matters most is a home ready to love her as much as she loves back. ✨ Ready to see if Dora is the right match? Search her name on the website using the link in bio to view her full profile and next steps. Transport from Texas to the PNW, East Coast, and Midwest happens every two weeks — and Dora is ready when the right fit comes along.
