Meet Jade!Jade is a lively, intelligent dog with a big heart and a lot of energy. She's looking for a home where she can thrive with structure, enrichment, and plenty of exercise. She came to us through no fault of her own and is ready for a new beginning.In her previous home, Jade lived with a small dog and an older child. While we haven't yet tested her with other dogs in our care, her history suggests she could do well with a canine companion-given proper introductions.Jade will do best in a home with a predictable routine that helps her feel secure. She'll need direct access to the outdoors, and a calm, quieter environment will help her settle in more comfortably.Although she's high-energy, Jade is also incredibly sweet and affectionate. Once she's had her exercise and knows what to expect from her day, she transforms into a total cuddlebug. She absolutely loves toys, Kongs, and puzzle feeders-and she's a smart girl who enjoys engaging her mind.Partnering with an AnimalKind Certified Trainer can be a great way to support Jade's transition and build a strong, lasting bond.Jade has already shown how resilient and adaptable she is. Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or 2.)Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.*Side note: the more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for in a canine companion, the better we can match animals with adopters!
