Bella was rescued off the streets of Texas, not much is known about her past prior to her rescue. After being fostered down in Texas while she healed she came up to RED September 25, 2020 as a medical rescue She is currently in foster care in Poulsbo where she is working on her basic obedience, leash skills and crate training. In playgroup Bella has been around multiple dogs, she can be pushy so would need a dog friend who is tolerant of that. Bellawould do best in an adult only home or home with older children (13+) that can focus on her training and provide her structure. She required a fully fenced yard with a visible fence. This dog requires a fenced yard. We seek fully fenced yards with a physical, visible fence. Typically, the fence must be connected to the house/ a door in the home, and the dog safe fenced area must exclude driveway and car access. Shock/electronic fences will not be approved for most dogs. A sturdy, high quality crate is also required (due to safety concerns, no wire or soft crates will be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). We will be considering homes in W. Wa and possibly Oregon, no other out of state adoptions at this time Adoption donation is Sponsored (waived) to an approved home. HI - I'M SANDY! I'm a 6-1/2-year-old sweet snuggler girl who needs a foster or forever home! I've been waiting for TWO YEARS for someone to choose me. I love to cuddle, hang out and watch TV, and go for walks, hikes, and other adventures. I do well with some dogs (I used to live in a home with a female dog), but prefer people to other dogs so I can get all of the attention. If you're looking for a snuggler, someone to share your bed and hug, I'm it! I truly am a lap dog, and I crave human attention and affection. I'm also super happy, and am just waiting for my person or people to come along. I weigh about 56 lbs.

HI - I'M VAIL! I'm a loving 4-1/2-year old Pit Bull Terrier girl in need of a foster or forever home. I love people and am quite the snuggler. I also love my crate, and would gladly sleep in it at night (though would probably prefer your bed.) I'm not destructive in the house and am overall a joy to have around. I'm also quite playful. At about 56 lbs., I'm a strong girl, and could use some leash training, though. I'm not the best around other dogs as I wasn't socialized well as a pup, so for now it's best I be the top dog in my home, where I can get all of the love and attention. I am about 4-years old, weigh 68 lbs., and am a lovebug with my person. I love to snuggle! I was rescued from a California shelter awhile back. There, I was a shelter favorite and helped the staff in the office. I also take treats gently. I have done well with other dogs in the past. I would probably do well with a calm female dog. I was originally rescued from a shelter awhile back and was skin and bones - now I'm filled out and weigh about 75 pounds! I tested OK with some dogs, but I would honestly be best as the only dog in the home, where I can bond with my person or people. Penny was from a breeder in Yakima. She was a June litter in 2023, so she is 2years old. Our situation has changed in the last 6 months and while we tried to make it work, Penny needs a home that can give her more time and attention. Shes energetic and loves being outside. She is loving towards people and other dogs. She is house trained and crate sleep trained.
