Story
Chun-Li is and Extended Stay Friend. Her adoption fee is $125. Meet Chun-Li, the sweet old girl who’s the best of both worlds! She's the perfect mix of calm and playful! Chun-Li walks nicely on a leash, making her a pleasant partner for leisurely strolls. While she may not be interested in toys, she never says no to treats or some good butt scratches. Chun-Li treasures the affection of her people above all else and is happiest when she’s close to you. If you're looking for a gentle and loving companion who prefers quiet moments of togetherness over the hustle and bustle, Chun-Li is the perfect match for you! **Here are some words from her foster family!*** "She has been absolutely flourishing here and has turned into a fairly active pup! We have been working on her stamina with walks with her joints in mind and are now up to about 1.5-2 miles at a time. Her joints don’t seem to bug her at all, she no longer has trouble hopping on the couch. She demands walks every day (it’s quite funny) and has a blast. We have loved fostering her again, she is a true queen!" Chun-Li would do fine in a home with children of all ages. We are not sure of how she is around cats Chun-Li can be selective with her doggy friends so a dog-to-dog meet is required before going into a home with other dogs. Chun-Li recently went on a Doggy Day Out with one of our volunteers and did wonderfully. She did great in the car, enjoyed a pup-cup and did lots of exploring. She was described as sweet, gentle, kind, beautiful and inquisitive. Here is what our volunteers have to say about her: "Chun-Li is a super sweet, docile, gentle girl. She did great riding in the car and going to the parks and exploring. She is such a sweetheart. I hope she finds an amazing "furever" home very soon." Chun-Li is a 7.5 year old female Pit bull who is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and currently weighing 66.5lbs. *If you are interested in adopting please start by filling out an application available on our website and email it to us. https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal

Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: This little one is a total sweetheart! Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10) 7/8 Housetraining Status: Only 11 weeks old. My favorite activities are: Learning new tricks and following my human around. Story
Hi! My name is Luna. I am a 8 year old, spayed Pit Bull Terrier. I am microchipped, heartworm tested and current on my vaccines. 3 words that describe me: playful, quiet, and well behaved. Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: Luna is one smart cookie! The staff quickly discovered her intelligence when she picked up "roll over" in no time. But be warned—she has one adorable weakness: belly rubs! Doggy Day Out notes: "Luna loved her car rides and pup cup. She loved to stick her head out the window and she loved smelling everything. Took her on a long walk and got a little tired. Super friendly to everyone and excited to meet everyone. Very friendly and loving." Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10) 7 Housetraining Status: Luna is housetrained. Luna’s previous owners shared that she is great with other dogs, regardless of gender, and enjoys playful interactions. She also loves to engage with cats, often playfully chasing them. Additionally, Luna adores children and would do well in a home with kids of any age. While Luna is a loving and social companion, she is very passionate about her food. To ensure a comfortable mealtime environment, she would do best being fed separately from other dogs in the household. My favorite activities are: BELLY RUBS! Things I need work on are: Nothing! Luna is perfect. Any special needs: N/A My adoption fee is: Thanks to a generous donor, my adoption fee has been sponsored! Training Requirement if applicable: $0 *If you are interested in adopting, please start by filling out an application available on our website and email it to us. https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal

Story
Meet Apollo, a lovable and affectionate dog who thrives on attention and affection from his people. With his gentle kisses and eagerness to be near his family, Apollo is the ultimate cuddle buddy. He’s also an energetic and playful pup, full of typical puppy enthusiasm, always ready for a game or a fun adventure. Apollo is food motivated, which makes training a breeze. He takes treats gently from your hand and is already familiar with his name and the command "sit." He’s still working on mastering other basic commands, but his eagerness to please makes him a quick learner. Apollo also walks wonderfully on a leash, making strolls around the neighborhood an enjoyable experience for both him and his handler. Apollo may do well in home with another dog. Because he can be selective with his canine friends, we ask that a dog meet with any resident dog be done prior to adoption. We are unsure how Apollo will do with cat friends. While Apollo is a great companion, he’s still learning the ropes of playtime. He can sometimes get overstimulated, so we recommend a home with children 12+ who can engage with him in a calm and positive way. With the right guidance, Apollo will continue to grow into the perfect, well-behaved companion. He’s ready to find a loving family who will help him become the best dog he can be! *If you are interested in adopting please start by filling out an application available on our website and email it to us. https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal
