American Shorthair kittens & cats in Doraville, Georgia

I adopted Emily about 5 years ago. She was found homeless as a kitten and I found her through an ad. She looked just like a cat I had loved for over 20 years who had passed a couple years before. Emily has become the friendliest cat I have ever had. She does not hide when people come over. She treats them like family. (Well, whether they like cats or not. She likes everybody). She comes to the door to greet me when I come home. She comes when I call her name (Most of the time, anyway). Always up for a pet, and always purring. Unfortunately, my circumstances have changed and I need to find a good, loving home for her. She will return the love you give her with interest.

Oden is 1 of 5 tuxedo kittens I've been fostering for a year. He was born in the beginning of July, 2025, and the last of his siblings that hasn't already been adopted. This sweet, cuddly boy just needs a loving home where someone can give him the attention he deserves. He's the only of his siblings who nobody wanted, likely because his inner eyelids don't retract all the way, making him appear cross eyed. That doesn't make him any less loving.Won't you give this sweet growing boy a family?Name: OdenAge: 1 yearSex: Male, neuteredBreed: Domestic shorthair, tuxedo coatVaccination status: Up to date on all kitten vaccines and rabies. Treated for fleas and worms.Temperament: Shy but very sweet when he gets to know you. Vocal and opinionated. Very vocal.Gets along with other animals/kids: Unknown. Will provide a weeks worth of food for any potential adopters to help segway him into any new food you might want to put him on. Will also give a blanket and a few toys.

Lovely and Quirky CHEEKY  needs a FOSTER or Permanent home ASAP!! Rescue will pay $100/month for a foster for two months! All supplies and equipment provided. Are you looking for a low-key non demanding girl as a pet.  She is never out of your sight, but not a pest either. She does love treats and will talk for them. She will sit near you. We think she was abused or NEVER given the love and attention to flourish. Cheeky is a lovely cat, very unusual. She has had a terrible time.  She would love to be your best friend!! She lived with a drug seller and heavy smoker in a high stress environment. She was initially rescued by a kind lady who is now in drug rehab.  Our rescue has been working with the prior owner for two years to help with vetting, flea treatment, etc. in hopes that she could stay in that home. However, with domestic violence issues and drug rehab, she is now homeless! In our cat rescue house, although we have a few cats, she is not stressed.  She loves to come out of her room and will lie in the general area with the rest of the cats, near the tv and near the staff. She is not a lap sitter yet but likes to be near you, petted and loves to be in the mix, HANGING OUT.  She is quirky as she will might hiss while purring with delight at the same time, :).  She needs a cat savvy foster or owner who understands cats!!  She needs a home and we will pay to help find a good quiet place with people who will care for her! This rescue is full and she would do best in a home with a cat or two cats, or just  YOU to focus on.  The rescue will supply all needs, all meds if needed, and will be there to support. PLEASE consider giving this easy cat a nice place and maybe even a home!! GOOD in litterbox. Easy to have around. NOT demanding, funny little cat that loves to be around, but not under food. TEXT 404-520-1060 cell if you can help this LOVELY Girl! www.awhar.org for application or we will send one to you! Meet Gum Drop  — A Sweetheart in Need of a Loving Foster! NOTHING Beats an Orange Tabby Cat! All around the best! Seriously, this little guy is ADORABLE!  Gum Drop is as sweet as his name suggests, and he’s been through a lot. He used to wait patiently with his ginger buddy, Sal, at an apartment complex for the kind person who came daily to feed the feral cats. Sadly, Gum Drop's life was in real danger — a group of young boys had started harassing the cats last week, jumping fence, tying rope and small chains around the friendly cats among the group, and the cat feeder truly feared they would have killed him (and buddy Sal) if they’d had the chance. She yelled and they ran, but she does not know their names.  She saw them back a second time and yelled again and threated to call the police!! He had a tough life, fighting for survival, and now we want him to have a wonderful life! Thankfully, we got he out in time and into our rescue program temporarily for safety. Now, we need a kind and compassionate foster to help him take the next step toward a better life. About Gum Drop: 11 lbs of love and fluff - NOTHING BETTER THAN AN ORANGE TABBY FIV-positive, but very healthy, good healthy mouth, great temperament, easy to handle and low maintenance! FIV cats can live LONG normal lives. Big LAP sitter; you can barely get up once he settles in! A little food-obsessed (he didn’t always have enough); so CANNOT let him get overweight! LOL! Lived with other cats and was the first to the bowl! Sweet, gentle, and craving affection Currently, Gum Drop is being kept in a huge dog crate (all we have!)— not ideal for a boy who deserves to stretch out, run around, and feel safe. We are urgently looking to move him into a loving foster home where he can decompress and blossom. All expenses are covered — food, litter, vet care, everything! You just provide the love. If you can open your heart and home to Gum Drop, even temporarily, please reach out. He’s ready to love you back tenfold. Let’s get this sweet boy out of the crate and into comfort — where he belongs.
